You Get What You Pay For

Ugh, we wanted to like this place so much based on other reviews, but wish we'd spent a little more to stay in a place that was clean and comfortable. This place needs new housekeepers. It was so dirty. The towel we put on the bathroom floor was black when we picked it up. The floors were sticky, the breakfast area was dirty. It was just a hot mess. If you like rock hard mattresses, you’ll like this place. Unfortunately, our backs currently hate us for how hard the beds were.

The made-to-order breakfast was chaotic. Not enough cooks, orders being mixed up or lost. People were getting irritable bc some of their party got food while others did not. They could improve their system by having your room number listed on the order slips when you get them. Also, hiring at least one more cook.

They charged me a credit card fee for checking in even thought the room was already paid for thru Expedia when called. They said it was the card I use for incidentals. They had to charge me to run the card even though no charges were done through the card. The employee explained to me later that if you read down deep enough, you would see it the best way to avoid not knowing I would be charged just for having a whole card would be to book directly through the hotel and maybe the employee would tell me I would have a separate charge just for an incidental card. Will not be staying there again I don’t like hidden fees.
