It was nice to get checked in early on a last minute decision to stay over an extra night. We had to move rooms but it was good. Didn’t hassle me about my service animal or make things awkward.

accommodations inside the days inn were fine but the whole parking lot had just been resurfaced and there was no way to enter the building without getting tar on the bottom of your shoes...should have resurfaced in two different sessions, half at a time.

Too many check in problems.
We got in later, made sure to notify the hotel. We got a phone call around 8pm local time asking if we were still coming. We confirmed again that we were. They said they would check us in so there would be less to do when we get there. When we arrived, the keys didn’t work. When we got them to work, the room they had given us keys to had someone already checked in and unpacked in that room. So we entered someone else’s room. When we went to get another room, the keys didn’t work the first time again. When we finally got in that room it was only one bed even though we specially confirmed 2 queen beds. So we had to go to the front desk for a fourth time to get the correct unoccupied rooms, only to be told they don’t have any rooms with 2 beds available any more. We had to wait 30min or so for this situation to be figured out, eventually being given two separate rooms, which as becoming a trend the keys had to be re-scanned because they didn’t work the first time. I was also double charged once upon arrival at the hotel and being given the first keys and then a second authorization was put on my card about an hour after we finally got into our rooms for the night. So that had to be a problem to fix in the morning. Too many problems, but especially walking into an occupied room. Not good.

Good value property for Helena; several places to eat within a block's walking distance. Good onsite parking. Minimal breakfast option wasn't worth stopping for, for me. Comfortable and clean.
