This house worked out great for our family of 8. Was hot and muggy outside but nice and cool inside. The first floor family and dining rooms were a great gathering place for our family.

Family gathering

Enough space for nine of us—four kids and five adults. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and outdoor grill. Beds were comfortable especially in the primary bedroom with electric dual adjustments. Rooms are good sized.

Outstanding property. The cleaning crew let the owner down a bit prior to our stay but nothing unacceptable, just not what we expected. We had a plumbing issue during our stay which in the end revealed a lot about the owners/managers in that they were on the issue immediately and potentially big issue was dealt with in half a day. I would stay here again just based on how they handled that. You can relax knowing that if you run into a problem with the property, they will address it with the least possible interference to your vacation....and, it's a great house with a good view and, put simply, it just works.

The property was out dated and the rooms in the basementwe covered in mice droppings.
These are the extra towels in the basement.
Light in Master bath full of bugs.
Hole in wall in basement hidden behind the trash can. Wonder how the mice ate getting in?

Christmas vacay WV

The house was a good size. The location was beautiful however when I booked this house I was not made aware that it was 13 miles uphill and around very sharp curves to the mountain. This info would have been helpful when deciding on a Vrbo. The home was comfortable but the overall cleanliness needs improving. Some of the bed comforters downstairs had stains on them that appeared either to be blood or rust? The driveway to the home was gravel road and full of deep crevices that were a safety issue for us older women.
