The name says it all. Chic Minimalism at it's best. Separate 550 square foot “mother in law” cottage . Breathtaking views from the living room or relax while grilling on the back deck. Rest and be restored. Eat in kitchenette, Smart TV, bathroom with luxury shower, children's books and toys, comfortable screened porch, washer/dryer. 2 Bedrooms - a King and bunkbed. Everything you need without all the stuff you don't. Cozy Cottage shares a property and driveway with Buffalo Cabin.

Cozy is perfect for long term stays, work-cations, travel nursing or just a romantic getaway. Established in 2022! Unplug. Unwind. Refresh. “Cozy Cottage” is the perfect romantic retreat or family getaway. The Master Bedroom is peaceful and relaxing and enters directly to the bathroom which has Jack & Jill doors. The bathroom is all tile and spacious with a luxurious large shower. The second bedroom houses a set of bunk beds and is also home to the washer and dryer. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has been created for you to relax and be restored. The intimate kitchenette is simply stocked with what you’ll need for great conversations while preparing a lite meal or ordering in. There is an induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer. There is also a gas grill on the back porch. There is no stove.
The family room has large windows looking out over the wooded yard and creek. With smart TVs you can access all your streaming platforms or just sit on the back porch listening to the whisper of the wind. Totally allergen friendly with a NO PETS and NO SMOKING policy. With two 18 hole golf courses only 1.5 miles away and the Sleepy Creek spa within walking distance it’s also perfect for a golf outing. Cyclists and Runners will enjoy the wide open country roads and the famous C&O Towpath and Western Maryland Rail Trail accessible in nearby Hancock, MD. as well as the many easily accessible trails. Whitetail Ski Resort is only 38 miles away for winter fun. Located minutes from the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area with 23,000 acres of gorgeous views, amazing hiking and a 250 acre lake. This hidden gem in “The Woods Resort” acts as a great base to explore the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, or just to getaway and relax.

Really nice “Cozy Cottage”
We had a great stay - perfect for two people. Comfy bed. Well appointed kitchenette. Awesome shower. We cooked every night we were there. Nice gas grill. The living area is small so it would be cramped for more than 2. A/C worked great! Wifi too. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Lots of nice hiking trails in the area.

We rented the cozy cottage along with the Buffalo Cabin next door for a family vacation. This place was so nice and truly made me jealous we "had" to sleep in the other one. Seriously though, if it were just my wife and I next time, we'd go for this property!

This is a solid choice for a cabin stay. We enjoyed our three day/two night stay at this location that had everything we needed to include comfortable mattresses, bbq grill, Wi-Fi, large bathroom, and the owners took the time to write us a personal “thank you” for booking our stay with them. Great property!
We were very pleased to stay at the "cozy cottage". We arrived after dark, but it was not hard to find the cottage. The GPS led us right to the front door. We really enjoyed the cabin overall. The area was peaceful and quiet. The only thing we weren't expecting was another cabin pretty close. Overall a good trip.

Amazing!
Buck and Chrissy were very commutative and made sure that we had everything we needed. The property was super cozy, clean, private, and nestled in the woods. We spent time on the back porch watching the deer run and sleeping in on the big comfy bed. Showers in the large glass shower were so invigorating with the excellent water pressure and massaging shower head. The towels were super soft too. Would certainly stay again!
