The people at desk was super rude and hateful made me pay more money and deposits that wasn't mentioned on website and told me if we had anyone stop by to bring food or anything we was gone and they keep our money

fine until 2:20 am

been a regular customer and this time all was positive until 2:20 am. then a pounding on the door; 2 different times. at 2:30 the person came back with "B & E" tools and opened the door. luckily i had the safety bar in place and he could not get in. at this time i yelled loudly and he left. when i left early in the morning and i noticed real damage to the metal door and metal frame. i will not return as there are many options; a bit higher

Very good value

Pros: Best price and value on our trip. The room had everything a hotel twice as expensive would have. You can park directly outside your room.
Cons: Shower wall needed repair. I am a big breakfast fan, and the continental breakfast was lacking. No fruit. Nothing hot besides the waffle maker.
Location: Good, central location. Shopping close by.
We were driving cross country. This is a "budget" kind of hotel. It probably attracts a lot of folks looking for an economical stay. Our room had been remodeled not too long ago. It was nice, and it is in a good area. I would stay there again.

This is a well renovated motel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Free breakfast
Cons: open window
I grew up in the Searcy Area and was a little skeptical that my wife booked us at this location. However my uneasiness was completely unfounded. This location is right off on of the main thoroughfares in the city. It is within easy distance of most anywhere you would like to reach in the city as well. The rooms were clean, comfortable, with new amenities and a pleasant atmosphere. The only complaint I could offer on the room is to check your window to make sure it is closed. We did not and the a/c did not cool the place like a meat freezer like we prefer. The location did provide on other complaint, in that it had a lot of traffic noise. This could also have been due to the open window, now that I think on it. Overall, I will plan on returning to the M Star the next time I am in the area.

This is not a luxury motel, however staff was gracious; overall it is the best choice in the area on Searcy.

Great Place to Stay

I stayed at the M-Star for 2 nights and it was just fine. The room was absolutely spotless! Upon arrival, the front desk clerk asked me to look over the room as soon as I entered and to let her know if there were any problems. I did just that, and was happy to report that everthing was great. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a coffee pot, microwave, small frig and cable tv. I did not partake of the continental breakfast so I can't give any response there. However, I can tell you the staff were very helpful. About 20 minues after I had checked out, I received a call from the hotel letting me know the cleaning staff had found my cell phone charger. They held it for me until I could return later in the day. Hotel was very quiet. I received a lot of service for my money. I'd definitely go back.
