Quick trip home
This was the perfect property for our trip back home to visit before the holidays. It was close to my parents, had lots of room for the kids to run and play and plenty of rooms for all of us. We will definitely be back!

We chose this property because we attended the Elk Tour at Breaks Interstate Park and we are traveling with our Lab It’s about 30 minutes to the park. This property stands out for its privacy and large rooms. I packed the car during a rain storm so the covered parking is appreciated.

The place was very clean and we stayed there during our reunion in Haysi. Very remote and peaceful with beautiful nature. Would have been nice to have WiFi service for communicating. Overall it was a nice place to stay.Dena

If you are looking to getaway from social media or need a break from your crazy busy life, this is the place to relax. The property is beautiful. The house was very clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting around the fire pit at night. We stayed here so that we could ride the Spearhead trail systems. The property has plenty of space for your trailer. However, the bridge getting in may be a challenge for longer trailers. The house is only a few miles from the trailhead in Haysi. If you feel the need to be on your phone or stay up to date on current events, this is not the place for you. I wish they would at least put in a landline for emergencies. I would absolutely stay here again.

The places was beautiful. But, there is no Wi-Fi no data connection not no televisions. It was nice to unplug but if it was an emergency would’ve been stuck in the water. Cannot contact anybody while there , even the host.
