Great place to stay in Old Havana within a 5 minute walk to the Plaza Vieja with a further 5/10 min walk into the Cathedral area. The B&B is situated within the local community which we personally loved. The property is immaculately clean and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended!

The property has been renovated. Room very comfortable and super clean. Staff is simply amazing and they did everything to make me feel good. Location is convenient, close to Old Square, where there are good restaurants. If you want to experience Old Havana with comfort, definitely this is the place to stay.

Charming B&B in Old Havana

We stayed for 9 nights and had a wonderful stay at this charming modern B&B in Old Havana. Room was spacious and clean with strong AC and a fan, and had a mini-fridge with water, sodas, and beer available for a small fee. Wi-fi was great and worked in our room and lobby our entire stay. Location is great, within 5 minutes to Plaza Vieja. Staff were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and everyone spoke English. At breakfast they happily accommodated our vegetarian diet - various options included coffee, tea, fresh fruit, toast, veggies, sandwiches, eggs. Would happily stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at Madero B&B! It was my bday when I arrived and the staff surprised me with a gorgeous and delicious cake! I was speechless..they really made me feel special. And they were available to cater to needs for the whole 3 night stay. I loved everything about Madero. My room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Restaurants were only a few minutes walk away. Lots to choose from. Some may say Madero is a diamond in the rough; for me, it was such a wonderful experience to be right where locals live too. The cultural experience was priceless.

This quaint B & B exceeded my expectations. I stayed for 2 nights, solo traveler. I requested a taxi pickup and they met me at the exit with a sign. Upon arrival at Madero, I was greeted with a refreshing fruit drink and cold towel. Then showed to my room (#201). The room was clean and spacious. The entire hotel was newly renovated. The shower was clean with a waterfall shower head. Breakfast was included and included an omelet, fresh fruit, tea and toast. The room had a mini fridge with cold water and beer available for purchase. The room had individual air conditioning and a ceiling fan. It also had a safe with key. The location was extremely convenient. It was within walking distance to the main city center. It was also a couple of blocks from the ferry to travel to the Casa Blanca island. This B & B provided everything - securing dinner show tickets, money changing, taxi service, etc. The hosts were extremely pleasant. They also provide lunch and dinner if requested. Staff was always someone available. I definitely recommend this B & B and would revisit if I ever visit Cuba again.

My stay at Madero was excellent, the staff at the property made the experience all the more special, they were informative, helpful and super friendly; thoroughly nice people. The property itself is a lovely building with a nice, stylish interior. The room I had was huge, with a king bed, nice bathroom, big TV, aircon and a fan. The whole place was exceptionally clean. The included breakfast was fantastic: juice coffee, fresh fruit, toast and your choice of eggs or whatever else. The place is a few minutes walk to the rum museum and Plaza de San Francisco, and not much further to the main part of town. They offered a money changing service which gave a better rate than any ATM (read about the money situation before going to Cuba). I would recommend anyone to stay there when visiting Havana. Excellent.

Best in Havana!

There is not a better place to stay in Havana. Immaculately clean, kind, helpful staff, fantastic breakfast every morning with cafe Cubana, a great location for walking to sights and privately owned restaurants, a beer and a sandwich (from the kitchen) on the terrace in the evening is the perfect way to complete the day.

Perfect accommodations for ever traveler to Havana

The entire place was well kept and immaculate. The staff was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. The morning breakfast of fresh fruit, juice and eggs with a choice of meat every was excellent. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and museums. The Madero is a gem in Central Havana. I highly recommend.
