We liked its close proximity to Mall of America and the suite set up with separate bedroom. We didnt get to use the pool much as its small and was always packed. The room was nice, but it is a hotel that allows pets and we had a small barking dog next to us that never stopped barking.

No a/c. Had to get a box fan which hardly cooled the room. Slider door to outside opened a couple inches but the traffic, airport noise and train bells were too loud to keep it open at night. Room was hot and humid, the carpet was filthy, and the soundproofing is awful. Granted it was spring break, so the hotel was packed with kids running the halls knocking and banging, spitting and throwing things over the railings into the atrium. The pool was dirty, there was garbage, hairballs and band aids all over the place and the water was greenish. The lights in the pool were out, the hot tub jets were not working for three days. The coffee was weak and only available certain times of day. Only one kind of half and half, and the breakfast food was not good. The mattresses are also not comfortable. This was a pretty bad stay.

Everything was good, I wish they had more options during happy hour, chips and pretzels only. Shanice was a joy from check in to check out. The sourpuss was the GM, we wound up booking an extra room, due to how the room was set up,the bathroom was in the main bedroom. I was charged an extra 10.00 per night, for an extra adult. I asked could the fee be adjusted, and the GM refused after spending over 1200 for two rooms with a 50.00 deposit, so please make sure you are exactly sure of what you want, because they will punish you for changing your mind. I canceled the other room before the 22nd as stated, but still were duped out of fees

I'm not the type of person to leave reviews but this hotel is one of the most terrible hotels I have been to. Our bathroom was so small even for a one person. The bedding had not been changed before our arrival there was stains in our sheets. At the same time we noticed housekeeping so we ask him to please come change our bedding, the housekeeping lady just stormed into our room didn't not I was literally naked so my husband had to ask her to come back in 10 minutes and she was mad about that and was yelling at my husband. We called the reception to have housekeeping, because the lady never came back after the 10 minutes. We left for dinner and the mall got back to the hotel hours later just to find our room a mess no changed bedding and all our garbage still sitting there. But AC wasn't working but he was on all night it was so hot in the room. Also my daughter was very excited about the pool which was not room temperature for even a little warm it felt like ice water and the water was dirtier than any dirty lake I've ever seen. The staff is really rude and unpleasant, unfortunately this was not a good stay!

The workers were fine the rooms extremely outdated, and sheets stained and dirty. The pool was filled with chemicals I know to keep it clean but it actually burned our skin.

My only complaint is the moisture that is constantly in the room. The windows need more insulation as they don’t hold heat very well so it gives the rooms a damp smell. The beds are extremely comfortable but the pillows are trash Get New Pillows small thing to a giant but thought of this

Very convenient if you’re going to Mall of America or the airport. There are a TON of families with little kids. Overall the hotel is very pretty and clean. The kids running in the room above me and outside my room was very loud. The staff needs to be a little more friendly and welcoming. Overall not a bad stay but just ok compared to some other IHG hotels I have stayed at in the past.
