This is no longer a 5 Star - not even a 2 Star

The Meet & Greet was welcoming but it is clear that this facility has no supervision. The Reception is cluttered & dusty. Water features not functional & clearly not maintained. The room clearly has very expensive furniture - but 10 years ago. It has only been superficially cleaned, with wine canisters dirty, the fridge still dirty from a previous visitor (still bloody from meat that leaked blood), the bed is spent, the cushions very poor with no inners which means one is breathing others' bacteria & totally worn out, old and faded linen, dirty blankets, the cupboards, especially in the bathroom is in disrepair & dirty, doors broken, no wifi (even though they advertise it), etc. WE LEFT FOR ANOTHER VENUE BEFORE WE EVEN UNPOACKED. NOTE: I am not adding photos on this platform - will send directly to the venue

Our room were very nice and need. Breakfast was ok accept for the fruit. We prefer fruitsalad and not a fruit basket. Unfortunately there is a piano that was tempting for small children to play on- very disturbing while you want to relax.

Disappointing!!!!! Nowhere near 5 star!!!

5 Star......!!!! Far from it!!!! It was most disappointing in respect of service!!! Long delays and poor responses from staff created huge frustration and marred a happy 60th birthday weekend!! The state of the self catering unit was appalling!!!!! Cupboards were filthy and kitchen floors not cleaned. This was unacceptable!!! Excuses from Mariska did not help!! The patio had not been cleaned either!! The bin was broken so disposing of litter resulted in the lid constantly falling off....In short .... certainly will not book here again....
