We enjoyed our stay at Herrington Woods!Our group consisted of 2 adult couples. Loved all the extra things in the house. Felt very homey. We spent most of our time on the back deck. Very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and things to do. Communication with the host was great!

Wonderful stay in a great area of West Lexington, KY. Peaceful and well kept, this is a rare gem. Plan on driving a lot on backroads that are narrow at times. Outside of that, if you're lookin gfor an upscale get-a-way in this area of the country, stop looking. You've found your place.

My extended family and I stayed here for a wedding that was held nearby. The house was beautiful! It was completely spotless and tidy when we checked in. It was a lot bigger than we expected…which was a good thing! The house was stocked with EVERYTHING that you could possibly need to make it feel comfortable and homey. The spacious kitchen is the star of this home. It was so nice for us to cook and gather around together. The back deck and porch, which overlook the Dix River, were the perfect place to sit and sip coffee in the morning and unwind and sip some wine in the evening. There was an issue with the boat dock before we arrived but it was communicated to me in advance of our stay. The dock was fixed during our stay and this was all communicated to me as well. It was very seamless and did not interrupt us in the least.I would highly recommend this beautiful river home to anyone!
