My room had 1x window only and facing the lift ( so very dark and lacking fresh air ), which might be common in this area of Hanoi, but my main issue was regarding the door noises. We didn't know what to expect. The Old Quarter is loud cramped. There aren't suitable sidewalks and scooters are everywhere. With that, our hotel was a nice hideaway from the somewhat overwhelming activity outside. Our room was clean and spacious. The blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in. The breakfast was good, and the waiter was so kind and friendly. Every morning, he would joke around with us and tell us about some of the local cuisine. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful and we’re happy to keep some of our luggage when we went on a Ha Long bay cruise. If I come back to Hanoi I would definitely stay here again.

They mever cleaned the floor and the area is bery noisy. Its probably best to stay a bit away from the old quarter or choose a hotel with double glazing windows.
