The staff and the manager were very polite and helpful, but the room is nothing like the pictures on the post. Mold was all over the walls, and the place smelled musty , the TV didn’t work and we asked the manager to fix in once we checked in the room, she said she will send someone to check it out next day but never came, we stayed for 3 days and no one ever came through or we didn’t even bother to ask because we out most the day but my husband love to watch tv when we back to the room at night. The AC were leaking and water was everywhere and got though my suitcase. Just not what I experienced. They definitely need to do some cleaning at the hotel.

We did not stay at Ambassador as the hotel texted us about its unavailability and suggested us to move to another nearby hotel. For this reason this review is not for Ambassador, and technically does not make sense when Ambassador reached out for reviews. The ratings we gave is for the hotel we eventually got moved to (Parklane Hotel) at 4 To Tich). Overall nothing bad but the hotel is about a 2.5 stars hotel.

Location X3! Hot & Cold running water in sink & shower. WiFi on all floors (when working). Clean for emerging country, they are happy to sell and book your tours. Friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to shop for the best price. Some rooms have NO windows. Pictures from room 501, large connecting room for 5, but one toilet and one shower.

Our three day stay

When we arrive there, we didn’t have hot water. However, this was because there was a small switch on the wall that they did not tell us was necessary to have hot water. Once we are able to flip the switch, the hot water was fine. Just wish I could’ve told us that two days earlier! We had some small ants in the room which when we complained about, they attended to immediately. Other than that, the staff was very kind and they worked hard to please us!

This property should not be listed on any of the reputable sites because it is a scam. We were offered a room different from the one we booked online and that was filthy. In addition , the manager told us that we had to pay her extra because it was a better room while she had nothing else to offer us. From bugs crawling on the floor and beds to worn out beds, bedding and towels to overwhelming sewage smell, this “hotel” was disgusting. Also, the manager was a con artist and was all about selling us tour packages before even checking in and scamming us more. When I complained, she said that the pictures and description we saw online were for marketing. Luckily, we could move quickly to another hotel after I called Expedia. I wish I read the reviews of this dump on Google before booking and not just trusted the reviews on Expedia.com. The one star I put is to just be able to post this review because this place doesn’t deserve any stars.

There was ants in the bathroom and in the shower; if you left a cup with water in it; there would be ants crawling all over it the next day. Our bed linens felt damp; we notified reception of this issue ; they said to turn on the a/c but the power to the room would turn off whenever you left the room.There was contruction going on next door that started at 5am; could not get any sleep and there were "air fresheners" in the room; it was very pungent. This was an overrated hotel room for what we paid for. Also, they demanded that we paid in cash despite the booking saying that we could pay by credit card and the sticker on the front door saying that they accepted all the major credit cards. Location was great but could still hear all the noise from the traffic and the constant honking. Would not go back or recommend this place.

Nice little hotel close to attracrions

Hotel was in a good location in the old section of the city, short walk to most attractions. Got upgraded the first night because my room type was sold out which was a pleasant surprise. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
