Located in a central part of Hanoi this Hotel offers a good standard of value and comfort. I spent two nights here following an off road motorcycle trip and so took advantage of the laundry service and an opportunity to get some good sleep. I was not disappointed, very attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was fine with a good selection of food. Overall a good choice if you need to be in central Hanoi.

Comfortable Bedrooms in Old Quarter

Lovely hotel in central location with the friendliest and helpful staff. Super comfy rooms, spotlessly clean. Breakfast more than ample to set you up for the day. Think they could drop the word garden as there is not one, however no big deal just confusing. Didn’t use Spa so cant comment on that. Definitely recommend 👌

Good clean hotel in Hanoi!

Front staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean. Only a little rusty/moldy spots in the shower door that barely was noticeable. Shower took a while to drain but it worked. Bed was firm and comfy.

The hotel is located at the heart of the Old Quarter, ideally situated for easy access to major sights and great restaurants, either by walking or using Grab. Our room was clean, spacious and remarkably quiet at night. Breakfast selection was quite decent. The staff at the hotel truly made our stay exceptional. Ms. Annie at the reception deserves a special mention; her English was impeccable, and she went above and beyond with her helpful recommendations and seamless arrangements for our day trip to Ninh Binh (more on that below). Mr. Henry consistently greeted with a friendly smile, opened doors for us and was always on hand to assist whenever needed. Mr. Truc was our private driver for our journey to Ninh Binh. He was very professional, drove with utmost care even in heavy rain, which gave us complete peace of mind. His suggestion for a sightseeing route worked out perfectly, allowing us to maximize our time and experience the beauty of Ninh Binh. Please consider adding this to your itinerary if you have time!

We stayed at Hanoi Garden Hotel & Spa in April and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our family feel right at home. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for a family stay. The location is ideal—peaceful yet close to the Old Quarter and major attractions. We especially enjoyed the relaxing spa and the delicious breakfast each morning. This hotel is a hidden gem in Hanoi, and we’d gladly return!

Dingy hotel that desperately needs maintenance

Not up to a 4-star hotel standards. We stayed in 2 rooms here and wouldn't recommend this to anyone. 1. We were downgraded for our second room and they didn't let us know right till the point we were expecting to get the keys and head to the room. We had been in touch with the hotel all through out. We were told some serious flaws have been found in the room. If they had let us know earlier, we would have looked for alternate accommodations somewhere else. 2. In the first room, within an hour of entering we heard a loud bang in the bathroom. The marble underneath the sink had collapsed and shrapnels were all over the bathroom. Luckily no one was hurt and we had to clean up the bathroom carefully. 3. AC didn't work properly in both rooms. Both ACs looked quite old. 4. We gave clothes for laundry. They came back discolored and shrunk. 5. Both rooms smelled like dingy room in need of ventilation. 6. Rooms didn't look like the pictures at all. Quite outdated. 7. First room had really bad water pressure. Took a lot of time to take shower. Quite disappointed with the experience and comparing with our other stays in Vietnam, this just wasn't up to the mark. Only good things about the hotel are the location and polite staff.

They were very friendly and helpful. always try to accommodate my requests. I stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights and would like to stay there again. One small thing is that it is not the hotel's fault, but we used the taxi cab on the way to the airport thru the hotel. The taxi driver made a couple of stops before we reached the airport, he made a stop to get the banh mi(bread), the lady on the street kept gesturing us to move the car, but the driver was outside to get the bread, and then he made another stop to drop that bread to a woman. it was pleasant at all. Other than that the overall hotel experience was good.

The property was located in the old quarter and was convenient for walking around. Many small restaurants and cafes around. I never needed a vehicle to get around and was able to visit many locations. The hotel was quiet and staff very pleasant.
