This place is great for friends and family!Location is right on the beach, which is what we were looking for. The weather was chilly when we were there (not controllable!) but the large patio doors made it feel like we were outside!Lots of bird watching and the lights at night were magical!Bed was super comfy as well as the pillows. Kitchen was well stocked. House smelled so clean when we entered. Beach access is most convenient despite the tides (better than neighbouring properties)Host is very responsive and very accommodating!This property literally has it all… all amenities and summer activities on site. We will definitely come back in the warmer weather!Thank you Rebecca for hosting us

This was a great spot for myself, my husband, our 10 year old and our family dog. The backyard offered amazing views and helpful amenities. The cottage itself included everything we needed for our weeklong stay. The hosts were helpful, friendly and responsive. Definitely would recommend!

Relaxing stay by the lake.

Cute little cottage by the lake. Nice accommodations, great large back yard, beautiful view of the lake, and access to the water directly from the cottage. We had a fun and relaxing time. Great place for paddleboarding, and there's a provincial park nearby which the hosts have provided a pass for. Great stay.

Thoroughly impressed with my visit to the SelkirkOasis cottage. Beautiful view of the lake

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway. The property was exactly as described and depicted with a beautiful view of the lake. We were there in the winter so I cannot speak to the summertime activities. We enjoyed the indoor gas fireplace and even the outdoor gas fire pit.

September 2025We had a quick 2 day getaway at this wonderful gem. Spectacular lake view. Cottage was clean and well equipped. We loved the wall of lake facing sliding glass doors which kept the open living space airy and bright. I had the advantage of sliding glass doors from my bedroom to the deck as well. In addition the the full length walk out deck is an additional dining deck. Nice sized grassy yard and lake access were also enjoyed.Check in was easy and hosts were prompt and friendly.We'll definitely return.

Beautiful cottage right on Lake Erie. It would be really nice if you had more pegs to hang clothes on the walls as you have no closets. Also a little stool or shelf in the toilet room would be nice for toiletry kits.Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.
