Very clean and spacious room. No coffee machine but a kettle in the room, which is great for us. Have to get your mugs, cups, cutlery, etc. from the restaurant on the ground floor though. After checking in online, you can get your room keys at one of the booths without the help of any staff; but when you check out using that device, you still need to pass the room keys back to the staff, which took us longer time than doing it in the manual way.

We had high expectations for this place, and technically there wasn't anything drastically wrong with it, but it was the accumulation of all the little things that left us disappointed. The location of the hotel is close to a homeless centre, but also close to a grocery store and U bahn. The showers spray water from the fittings, and also the shower is too shallow so it floods the bathroom floor. When we mentioned this, they said all the rooms have the same problem, as well as the fitness room...but they haven't haven't done anything about these known issues? For environmental reasons, they don't have a fridge in the room, which I kind of understand but it was inconvenient for us. You also have to ask for a kettle and mugs. There were no tea or coffee making facilities at all.

Location not near the action—too corporate. No phone in room (guess I’m old-fashioned. Unable to control the room temp. Get over yourself: no shower door was a nuisance. TV was another nuisance: fiddling for a long time to get limited channels.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Lots of good food close by with late night options, and easy to get to the train station. Fantastic staff and good breakfast. Lovely dining area. Room was stylish, modern, elegant, and rather large. I enjoyed.

Not what I had expected

The morning after my first night, there was no hot water to shower. I called the reception (with my cell phone as there are no phones in the rooms) and flag the issue. “Yes, I know about this issue and I cannot do anything about it” was the answer. Not a single apology from the staff nor any compensation.

Wanted to like it

First, great friendly staff. The location itself is fine, it is near a supermarket for snacks. Unfortunately the city has a major homeless problem, and by the looks of things the city appears not to care about helping these humans.... The area between the hotel and Hauptbahnhof, in particular August-Bebel-Park and the bus station, is where the city seems to corral and ignore their citizens who are most in need of help. There is a lot of drug use and polite people asking for change, but there were plenty of police so it was safe. The hotel room was big, with two singles pushed together as a double. The bed was hard but ok, unfortunately the pillows were flat, even folded and stacked my neck hurt each morning. The TV was good with the ability to cast, no lag from streaming. The shower was strong, but with one side open it resulted in the bathroom turning into a paddle pool, the water didn't drain quickly enough. No mini fridge or tea / coffee in the room. Small safe in the room. Two free small bottles of water on first night. Their website mentions a gym which doesn't exist and restaurant which only does breakfast and lunch. I really wanted to like this place but the pillows annoyed me the most.

仕事で2泊しました。 中央駅から徒歩10分くらいと駅近で、また近くにスーパーもありました。加えて、新しいホテルらしく、非常に清潔で快適でした。 シャワーは温度・湯量とも十分でしたが、取り付け口の正面に扉がなくガラ空きのため、水漏れしないよう注意が必要です。先人のコメントがあったため被害には至りませんでした。 朝食も味・品数共に素晴らしく、おススメできるホテルです。
