We went for this 175 euro option while visiting family in Hamburg that lives just nearby. We only needed to sleep there so didn’t need anything extravagant. Everything was very clean but very basic including the furniture in the room and the bathroom cabin.

Oh wow you sell pizzas

On the first night, it was pouring with rain, it was late and i was hungry. I thought oh this is a red Ibis they must do some sort of food. I asked the guy on reception. Any food mate? No nothing was the reply. Following morning i go down for breakfast, new person on reception. I ask about public transport and right behind the receptionists head is a sign saying pizza's for sale, cooked to order. Angry didn't cover it! Other than that, not a bad hotel. It's an Ibis so you know what you're getting

We had two rooms on the 5th floor and both of our bathrooms smelled terrible. Must be a pipe problem. Carpet was old and stained. You get what you pay for. Definity a budget hotel. If this doesn't bother you, the location is great . Close to U-Bahn, Reeperbahn, harbor, Dom. We chose it for the location. Not sure if we want to return to this hotel.

Overall nice hotel, comfortable, parking next to hotel, and if you come with car you get a discount for parking. Enjoyed breakfast. Didn't liked WC- shower capsule that is very small and shower had problem draining water.

Disappointing

We stayed for 2 nights. We were disappointed that the room wasn’t cleaned or beds made after the first night. The toilet smelled of urine and there are no tea and coffee making facilities.

Great value well located clean and tidy hotel

I thought this was a very decent hotel for the price. Nothing fancy but a good sized room in good condition and very clean and comfortable. Location is great if you want to be close to the Reeperbahn party district, and it's right by the St Pauli U-bahn station too. I'd happily stay here again
