The elevator was broken so we had to hike up 5 floors. My husband is due for a knee replacement and I have bone spurs in my ankle. Appropriate notice to allow us to book else where would have been appreciated. While taking the stairs someone had stored their garbage in the stair well and it smelled more each day we passed it and then my husband witnessed a group of many many rats on the out side of the building eating out of the garbage in the bins in their back alley. Inside the apartment was clean.

It was very central halifax, I will 100% stay there again. My only complaints is the cleanliness, there were a few spots with exposed wire (was informed after purchase that they were undergoing construction on fhe buildings main area)

Apartment was very clean. The windows did not have screens therefore we were unable to open them. The air conditioner cooled the living room only. It was difficult as I have a medical condition that requires me to be cool. So maybe a fan in the closet would be helpful.
