Downtown Halifax Apartment
We enjoyed our stay, the location was wonderful, although the heading on the listing did mention waterfront, which this building isn’t. No mention in the original listing that parking would be $10 per day, it merely said “assigned.” When we arrived and accessed the underground parking, nowhere to park, had to phone the emergency number provided, speak to a person in charge, texted a photo of our rental car, and we were assigned parking spot 35. All this at 9.30 in the evening after a five hour flight. 365 did respond quickly to any enquiries during our stay, and facilitated a way to pay for the parking at the end of our stay as we weren’t able to e-transfer. More clarity needed in the listing; we understand not everyone needs parking, but knowing before we arrived would have been so much easier. The apartment is very pleasant, but needs tlc.

Three weeks in Halifax
Enjoyed the city, the apartment and the location. Host was very responsive and apartment was quite comfortable. Only complaints -- the air conditioning is located in the living room and the bedrooms are quite warm. Have to put it very low to get the cool air to reach the bedrooms. A fan or air circulator of some sort would help a great deal. Also, kitchen was poorly stocked. When I'm arriving for a three week stay, it would be nice to find more than two rolls of toilet paper, two garbage bags and one roll of paper towel. While there was laundry detergent and dish soap, no cleaning supplies were provided, no spices or cooking oils, no coffee or tea. One ratty sponge. Given the amount I paid for the rental, a few extra provisions would have been nice.
