I am disappointed to share a negative review because there is so much potential for this accommodation which is nestled into a cute cove in Halfmoon Bay. There were three main concerns: 1. Poor Communication The host often took hours to reply, and at one point didn’t reply at all. This was incredibly frustrating when I informed him that the fire alarm was set off after attempting to preheat the oven and make a frozen pizza due to it being so dirty. The host said they paid for a deep clean and assumed that I burnt the pizza (which was never made).2. Not cleanIn addition to the oven, it was clear that the accommodation was not deep cleaned based on the dead bugs in windowsills, living spider and web in the bathroom, and general hair/mess. 3. Does not match listing There is no garage as listed. Instead, there is another unit that you may have to share/coordinate the parking spot with. Additionally, the yard is not kept making the patio space very buggy and uncomfortable to enjoy the seating area which certainly has potential. I wish I could share a more positive review, and would have been much more satisfied with better communication.
