We booked a superior twin room on the 25 th of March, when the booking came back there was no assurance of the twin room so I contacted the hotel and they sent me an assurance of a twin room, on the 26th march. On arrival at the hotel on Dec 4th we were initially given a king size room, no 319. on questioning this and showing them the assurance of a twin room they said they did not see this e-mail ,they then had the audacity to say that the room was now ready which sadly was the same room with the two beds still together but made up as two singles with the same bed head.Not a twin room as assured. On questioning this later the gave us every excuse under the sun. We eventually walked away disgusted. NOT A TWIN ROOM and certainly NOT a Superior room.in fact it was one of the smallest rooms on the floor! Utterly disgusted and will posting this on their sight for others to see. B.Dean

I stayed here for 4 nights and from day one the AC wasn’t working after complaining a few times I was told it’s because it’s winter but it gets so hot inside the room. I had to sleep with the balcony open which was so noisy because the hotel is on the road, one sleepless night. They did provide me with a fan which was helpful. I hope hotels start mentioning that the AC will be off during winters. Specially if it’s countries which are still hot during the winters. The shower was so small that you could hardly move. The bedding was stained a bit which I didn’t make a fuss about. The rooms are definitely not soundproof. I could hear everyone talking in their rooms. The only thing I would say was good was the convenient location, a minute away from buses both ways. Shops around and loads of restaurants around.

The best aspects of my stay were that room was clean and the location was perfect. Everything else was just mediocre. The breakfast was decent at best (the eggs were not great and the orange juice was watered down). The heat was not turned on at the hotel my first night there despite it being the end of November. They finally turned it on by my second day there (people must have complained). The staff was only moderately helpful, basically, everything was basic at best. The worst thing about my stay was the bed. The bed was as hard as a rock. I couldn't believe how uncomfortable the bed was.

From start to finish, our stay was exceptional. Check-in was smooth, and although we were initially given a first floor room, the staff happily moved us to a fifth floor room with a balcony, no hassle at all. The rooms were very comfortable, but the real standout was the staff, super friendly, helpful, and truly fantastic, thank you to you all. Having access to the pool across the road was a great bonus and made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone planning a stay in Malta who doesn’t want to be in the heart of Valetta old town.

This hotel is ideally located on the promenade in sliema. Rooms are adequate and comfortable. Front desk staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast seems to be a bit of a dog and pony show. We ate at the upstairs restaurant our first morning and it was excellent!! Later that day we noticed that the restaurant downstairs (Grana) also had breakfast. So we asked if there was a difference between the two and were told no. We were then asked if we wanted to reserve our breakfast table for the next morning. We said sure, is it ok if we eat upstairs? Answer was sure no problem. Fast forward to the next morning, we go to breakfast at seasons upstairs and are told we're not on the list but no problem come on in. While we're getting our food a staff member then approaches my wife and basically berated her that we weren't supposed to be there and that for today it's okay but not for tomorrow. Firstly, customer service 101...DO NOT EVER BERATE A CUSTOMER... ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOOD LINE IN FRONT OF OTHER GUESTS. This behaviour should not be tolerated by management. If it wasn't for this experience, the hotel would have gotten a mich higher review. Will never return

The room and the hallway had a terrible smell, like sewage. When we arrived, they tried to trick us and send us to a hotel far from the main attractions. When we refused, they put us in a room that was clearly one of the worst in the entire hotel. The only positive point is the location — it’s perfect, close to several restaurants, shops, and the main tour departure points.

No cold water in kitchenette till I did a minor fix.hot and cold taps reversed- notified front desk. They said they repaired it but didn’t Body wash disoenser empty entire stay. Stuffy room with only “window” leading to alcove for pipes. Way overpriced considering room ambiance. Will avoid this chain in future. Small B&B’s are nicer, friendlier and significantly less expensive

Great stay in Malta

Room cool and clean. Lots of space. Friendly helpful staff from receptionist to the domestic staff. Breakfast was around the corner at 115. It was lovely lots of choice. The hotel is modern and lots of plug sockets available.

Great Service, Great Location

The staff were friendly and service was immaculate from the very start of our stay to our departure. We had a room on 8th floor and it was super quiet, comfortable and fabulously clean (our room was cleaned every day which can be a rarity nowadays). There's a huge variety of food to choose from at the buffet breakfast and the food is delicious at Grana restaurant. A definitely worth having a dinner at the hotel. We received a free (sic!) welcome drink at the terrace bar on the 9th floor - amazing views across a bay towards Valletta and an excellent place to enjoy sunset. The hotel has a small 'dipping pool' (on the 8th floor) next to the fitness centre yet the bigger pool at Aqualuna across the road is free for hotel guests. The location of the hotel is ideal whether staying for a short trip or a longer holiday. There's direct airport bus service with a stop close to the hotel front door (1 min walk) and regular bus routes to the centre of Valletta (about 15 mins by bus). I warmly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.
