Clean and simple but dated. Got wrong bed

A little dated hotel/rooms. A tiny television with no functionality such as apple play or google casting. I booked a double bed but got a room with 2 single beds side by side which dosnt really work as a double bed because of the gap in the middle. Overalll quiet and clean.

Not so good stay at Relaxa city

I have stayed earlier at Relaxa City and it was comfortable stay , but this time it wasnt good. the bedside lights were not working , i kept asking the reception , they use to write it down but no action was taken, Bath towels were there on the first night , they were not replaced. Again requested but action was taken.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town center and is within walking distance. The only setback is that there are no food or room services as the kitchen is under-staff. Superior breakfast is available.

I arrived in the evening and wanted to have something to eat and drink and do some work. All catering facilities were closed, bar, restaurant, room service, so I had to find a restaurant to go to (away from the hotel) before being able to get on with my work. For a supposed 4* hotel, not a good aspect. Although I must say that I have used this hotel many times and not experienced this issue before.

A nice hotel in beautiful Ratingen

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in Ratingen. The hotel was very welcoming upon arrival. A taxi from the international airport was 31 euros and takes around 10 minutes. The hotel is well situated being only 10 minutes walk into the Ratingen downtown area and has several bars/hotels within walking distance. I highly recommend the Ratinger Brahaus for dinner/drinks which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We were very fortunate to be there on the weekend and got to visit the local market, which was wonderful experience. The room was adequate for our needs, the bed being the usual 2 single beds pushed together as you expect to see in the area. Wifi was very good.

Good business hotel

I've stayed in this hotel a few times - modern, clean and well run. Ideal for the business traveller, although there is a spa for the more casual guest. Close to Dusseldorf on the S-Bahn so a good option when travelling to Dusseldorf on business.

Perfect one night stay over

I stayed here overnight as it was an equal distance between some clients in the area. After an early flight and a busy day of meetings I found this hotel to be perfect for my needs. No hassle, clean and I slept well!

The hotel is located in a good area close to the central city with a Aldi's nearby. The upgraded rooms are basically the same as the regular rooms, just in better condition. Some ontreet parking is available but the parking garage at 8 euro a day is a good choice. Breakfast is available in the hotel but 17 euro is rather expensive. A 10 minute walk to Kamps gets you a coffee and a brotchen for under 6 euros.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel in April 2016. I was attending a trade fair in Dusseldorf and booked this hotel as it was close to the station for a short train journey into Dusseldorf (all hotels in Dusseldorf seemed to be fully booked or very expensive due to the trade fair). The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the train station; the journey into the main station in Dusseldorf takes 16 minutes (about 3 trains per hour). The hotel has a pleasant foyer and the reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. I had a meal one night in the restaurant which was very nice, and breakfast one morning which was a reasonable quality standard hotel buffet breakfast. My room was a good size and quiet. It was on the 3rd floor alongside the road, but there was no traffic noise during the night. The room was very warm and I had to open the window at night - not a problem as there was little noise. The bed was very comfortable. The décor was very plain and the carpet was very worn. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom when I arrived. This smell seemed to disappear later; I don't know if I just got used to it or it cleared because I opened the bedroom window. There was a small flat screen TV; the only English channel seemed to be BBC World.

Good hotel for business travellers

A good hotel, modern and clean and relatively easy to get to. I was attending ProWein and was able to get a limousine but other wise expect to pay a good bit for a taxi or spend an hour or so on public transport. I would have loveed to have a bath in my room but otherwise the hotel was good. The breakfast is pricey (€17.00 is a LOT for a standard buffet) but everything else was good.
