We’ve been coming to Orange Beach for years and this was one of our more frustrating stays.At first glance, the condo looks nice, but once inside, it’s clear it’s been done very cheaply. Cabinets, appliances, and bedding were all below expectations for the price. There were also maintenance issues, TVs had color problems, door screens weren’t installed properly… just a general lack of attention to detail.The biggest issue was the dryer going out on day 4. It took three days to get a replacement, and when they did, the new one wasn’t working properly. We left the next day, which was disappointing given the cost. They offered laundry service our last day.The experience with the property management company (Sands of Alabama) didn’t help. Leading up to the trip, they repeatedly tried to upsell us on extending our stay, but when we asked multiple times about early check-in, we kept getting “we’ll let you know.”On check-in day, we called at 1pm then 2pm and never got a callback. After 45 minutes of follow-up, we were allowed in at 3pm… and were charged for early check-in, even though the unit had been vacant.Overall, this didn’t feel like a place that’s cared for or managed with the guest in mind. We’d recommend looking elsewhere.
