Hotel Romer was a unique experience for us. It was clean and satisfactory. Breakfast was great and well stocked. The kids loved the small but entertaining play area. Night staff gave great dinner recommendations. Day staff was to the point and very short. We would still go back if we were traveling through.

Great staff. Nice breakfast. Fantastic room with excellent facilities including a small kitchenette. Downside was crossing a very busy road from main hotel to rooms. Not much the hotel can do about that but we found it troublesome, time consuming and a little dangerous.

An unexpected great hotel!
The hotel was quite lovely, spread across 2 buildings on either side of the street. The room was spacious with a little kitchenette, and close to Legoland, which was our goal (15 minutes away). Also, the morning breakfast buffet was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Family friendly hotel
Very friendly, family orientated hotel, 5-min walk from town centre with lots of restaurants. We were in an annexe (with car park) across the road from main hotel, so don’t know what rooms in main building are like, but ours were spacious with sitting/eating area and kitchenette. Delicious breakfast.

Hotel Römer in Gunzburg ideal
We are cycling the Danube so Hotel Römer was ideally situated and very comfortable. There was a secure place for our bikes. The buffet breakfast was varied with carbs and protein. It was a short walk to the historic downtown for sightseeing and restaurants. The dining area has a historic foundation preserved in it. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a great local hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay. We stayed here due to the convenience to Legoland but Günzburg also has lots to offer like a stunning old city center and history. I’d recommend this hotel with no reservation.

Ok hotel but a bit expensive for what you get
Parking lot is across a very busy road, so you can find yourself waiting for ten minutes with your belongings and kids before you can cross. No parking on the hotel side, even temporarily to unload. The hotel itself was OK, nothing really good or bad, but the price was high for what you get. Small room, comfortable bed, clean, feels a bit old. Rather close to town center.
