Excellent service. The staff is always there when you need them . Our room got cleaned 3 to 5 times a day, that is hard to see even in a 5 star hotel. Concierge service was beyond expectation, they where able to get us a wine tour 1 hour before; even when there was no tours avaible. Bar tender service was excellent. if they don't have the drink you want, then it will be created for you. We received no excuses on why it was not possible. Everything was doable at Matilda.Strongly recommended . We will be back with more friends. Keep up with excellent service . Jose Andreu

Newer property. Excellent location. Staff was top-notch. Had one meal and that was outstanding. I asked for an iron and instead they ironed my clothes for free (including a suit). Only gripe I had is the slow shower drain which is likely due to the old town drainage system. Really a five-star experience. Be sure to tip well.

Outstanding in Every Way

We have traveled often around the world. Been to Mexico 8 times. Matilda is the best place we have stayed. Mexi, its restaurant, turns out to be very, very good, and inventive. Try the Chef's tasting menu. Overall, its location is near all the downtown shops, architecture and cultural places. Best part is the staff, from top to bottom. Recommended without reservation.
