Wonderful place and was perfect for our family of 5 adults one baby. The location gave us easy access to Dunne beach and the Marina area. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding and towels. Would definitely rent again.

Awesome location

We had a fantastic memorial day weekend with our family. Best thing is the location so close to the beach area.

The house was perfect for our multigenerational family. The kitchen was very well-stocked with lots of cooking supplies and basic cooking needs. The hosts were so generous with a snack basket and coffee/tea and hot cocoa. We would definitely stay here in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Hiker's Escape for the long Thanksgiving weekend. The house is so well-stocked, the location is beautiful, and our hosts are extremely responsive and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about their attention to every detail for their guests. Thank you so much!

Our family of 2 adults, 2 seniors, 3 kids and a dog had a great time at this property. The house is equipped with everything you can think of, all the necessary info is provided well ahead of time and check in and check out are super smooth and easy. We hope to return there if we have a chance!

Love this Cabin!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was great! Very nice and homey feel, all the amenities, working A/C, etc. The lake was great with a few beaches to choose from. Wonderful area. We will definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

Best cabin we've stayed at yet! This place is very well stocked with all the amenities you need to cook, clean up, entertain, relax, be comfortable and have a great time. The location is walking distance to a beach. You'll love it here!

We loved staying here with a family of 9. The house is well stocked with everything we needed and the hosts are very responsive and helpful. My mother really enjoyed her own separate quarters downstairs and the kids loved the ping pong table and especially the Pac-Man machine. Thank you!

Great family spot

We had a great family vacation! This home met all expectations and more, especially since we were traveling with children under 5 years old. Check-in was so easy, hosts are so friendly and readily available to help with anything. Home is equipped with everything you may need which made our stay that much more enjoyable- board games, ping-pong table, Pacman, football, etc... Great spot!

We forgot to print up the check info. So we texted the owners. They called back within minutes to help is get in. We had a great stay and definitely recommend to anyone.

Spacious, well-stocked home

We stayed at Hiker's Escape during a long weekend trip to Yosemite - two families with a total of 6 older teens. The home was well maintained and well-stocked, with everything we needed to cook three full dinners and breakfasts. The location was convenient for visiting Yosemite, and the development itself had plenty to see and do, with a small beach a nice short stroll away. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive, and we appreciated the small thoughtful touches including the welcome basket of goodies and cold bottled water. Highly recommend!

Great vacation!

We just had a great stay in this house. Mike was incredibly helpful and responsive. The house is ideally located walking distance to Dunn Court Beach which is smaller and less hectic than the main beach. We were able to swim, kayak and SUP daily and the lake is calm with not a lot of powerboats. The house had plenty of space for two couples, and two pairs of teenagers and our dogs. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a huge deck to bbq on. Large nice TVs everywhere too. The PacMan/Galaga machine was a nice bonus for sure! If we go back to PML we will definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a quick getaway

We wanted a quick getaway with my visiting family members. To accommodate our needs, we looked for a place that is mostly one-level and with minimal carpeting (to avoid allergy issues). 'Hiker's Escape' met all our requirements perfectly. The cabin never felt crowded even when all 7 humans and 1 dog were in the main area. As stated in the description, it's conveniently situated to many hiking trails. The closest grocery store, Mar-Val, is well stocked despite its small size. Just be aware that the cabin is in a private community that charges fees for guest vehicles.

Perfect ‘Escape’

Mike and Shar’s home exceeded our expectations and, we would have to say, is one of the best privately hosted rentals we have stayed at since we started traveling again. The home is clean, bright and overall a good place to just recharge and spend time with family. Ideal for kids; there are board games, a pac-man machine, a toddler table and chairs, and balcony that has a toddler-proof gate. The kitchen has granite counter tops and is well stocked with some basic cooking supplies and appliances. Mike and Shar are great hosts and quickly responds to inquiry and requests. The welcome snacks and bottled waters provided was a really sweet touch and just shows how accommodating the hosts are. I would definitely book Hiker’s Escape again on our next trip to Yosemite.

Cute , spacious and great location

Love this place. I wish we would have stayed longer. There are 3 rooms in the top floor and are nice and comfortable. There is an extra private suite in the bottom of the house with its own bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need. Very close to the lake and 4 minutes driving to town. Sharlene the host will answer your questions right away. I totally recommend this cabin in the lake for families or friends reunion.

Summer escape

The house was perfect size with good amenities. We had hoped for better Lake access. However, it was so hot the we didn’t venture far from the house, car or bar. Thanks for a great stay!

Well stocked lake house!

It was our first time in Pine Mountain and it did not disappoint. The house is very cozy and clean. The owners always responded and helped us with any questions we had. The lake is a short walk from the home. We had a blast and will be back.

Amazing trip

We had the best time and made unforgettable memories here. The host Mike and Shar were very responsive and gave us tips on how to navigate the resort on the busy 4th of July. Everything was provided that you can think of. We are hoping to come here every year as a family and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Thanks Mike and Shar for a trip we will never forget.
