This property was an oasis in the middle of the lava field. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with arranging the free shuttle to/from the Blue Lagoon that added to our spa experience. The rooms were spacious and breakfast was wonderful. Plan to stay if you’re are just arriving or on your last day because getting to the airport was fast and easy.

This was a fantastic hotel with a great breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. Only areas for improvement would be: 1) turn on the AC, the rooms were quite warm (and with the thermal vents so close, opening the windows could lead to a strong sulfur smell depending on the wind direction), 2) put in a pool or hot tub and 3) while the restaurant had an excellent breakfast, Max's dinner was a bit pretentious.
