Tranquil environment with a spacious front and backyard. Easy access with parking available for service vehicles. The cottage is located within 3 miles of the hospital so it is ideal for people traveling to visit persons in the hospital. Serenity Cottage is approximately 5 miles from down town and 7 miles to Lander University and 10 miles to Piedmont Technical College. Please read the House Manual prior to booking.

We had a wonderful stay at the Modern Country Home at Serenity Place. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable. Vinetta is an incredibly caring host – she truly looks after her guests and is always there if you need help or have a question. You immediately feel welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place.

Perfect family gathering

The house was as described. The 3 bedrooms allowed for 3 generations to have one place to spend time together and visit in a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything we needed for the stay was available. Grocery store was just a short distance away. Entry and exit could not have been easier. Communication was excellent

Very quiet and peaceful

We came for family wedding and needed kitchen space to prepare potatoes salad for 120 guests. This gave us the needed space with a great kitchen to work in. The beds were very comfortable. I only wish the outside porch light went off earlier in the evening as I like complete darkness for sleeping.

Golf friends

The place was very clean, nice and quiet. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen and they had everything we needed for our stay. Including a nice bathrobe in each bedroom for guests to use. It rained one day, but the host had plenty of umbrellas for us to use. We tried to get tickets to the Masters (about 1 hour drive) but were unsuccessful. Instead, We played golf at Greenwood Country Club and had dinner at The Carolina Tavern which was great.

Nice quiet place

House was well kept and as promised. Google maps did not give exact location but found it and it was fine. Quick to communicate and everything as promised. Did list there was a hot tub, but did not see on property. Not a deal breaker because did not have time for that anyway. May have been on adjacent property but did not ask so I do not know. But great stay, would love to stay again.
