Not what we expected
We thought we were renting a “villa” as described in the listing. However, this is more like a dorm room. It is a motel complex of buildings with TINY rooms. We were trying to rent a VRBO home that we could have a dinner with friends. This room did not even have a table. There was a tiny island with seating for 3 people. Not even enough for the 4 of us much less having guests over. We were shocked by both the size and the setting.
From the photos on the listing, it looks like this unit has a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea and a hot tub. This NOT the case. Both the view and the non-functional Hot Tub are from the hotel management office a very long hike from the units.
The listing also says washer and dryer. This was not the case. There was a shared laundry room with one working washer only. No dryers. It was not available when we arrived and we had to wait a day to use. And a laundry room is NOT the same as having a washer and dryer in the unit as advertised. This is a deceptive listing.
The listing also says Internet and TV, neither of which worked in our unit. This was frustrating because we were there during the World Cup and had planned to watch the games. With the lack of both TV and Internet, we couldn’t even check the scores.
The staff were friendly but this is NOT a villa or home and was a great disappointment to us.
