The property needs to be updated. Overall it looked dirty and old. Carpets need to be replaced. No soap in the shower. Very noisy air conditioning in the room, and had to turn it off at night to sleep. Not good on a hot night.

The staff was not friendly! We were there for a wedding and asked for early check in because the shuttle was picking us up at 4. They charged us another 25$ to get in our room which was READY at 3 so we could get dressed. Terrible service!!!

I recall when this Hotel was built and stayed once or twice in the past. In todays unsafe, lack of police, liberal judges who release murders to prey of the elderly, children, and women, I believe strongly that this location will, if not already, be a prime business for the felony criminal to infiltrate. Elevators at OPEN and very Accessible ends of the Hotel. Once inside the elevator you become a possible victim and the Office (located in the middle of the building) would have no idea. Area is open to ANY intruder 24/7. Separating the Breakfast area from the Office area is a BIG mistake. ANYONE can walk into the Breakfast Room via its own exterior, unlocked door, allowing entry by ANYONE, like the Charlotte Train Murderer!! Everyday this Best Western puts the lives of its clients in jeopardy!! It is located in a very transient area, bars, restaurants, hotels, and affords the potential criminal a feeding ground to attack innocent victims. Never saw a police officer or any security personnel?? This is NOT the 90’s. No Cash Bail is only a success for the Criminal Element and with Baltimore, Annapolis, and Salisbury within easy striking distance (short car ride) felony type criminal/s can simply carjack a “Beamer”, and easily find their way to Kent Island. To keep myself and Family safe I will pay more at the Hyatt to be secure and safe!!!! Sorry but it’s the truth!!

Kent Narrows is an easy getaway for hubby and I, we love The Best Western! We love the location and all the dining options near by. We walked across the street to Fisherman’s Inn restaurant.

We arrived at 2:48 PM and were told that we would have to pay a $25 early check in fee, even though check n is at 3:00 PM. This made me feel unwelcome due to us being only 12 minutes early. Seemed like they were trying to get extra money out of me. The rest of the stay was better.
