This is a nice option amd driveable to Lake Michigan. The staff is indifferent but it did not hinder our stay. Free breakfast and dog friendly!

The shower was designed for handicapped people. The shower drain was slow, so the water flooded the entire bathroom. The room service explanation on the mirror said that towels and sheets would be changed every 3 days. It also said to notify the front desk for room service. We did not get room service until the 5th day, when I requested it at the front desk. So, there was confusion about the process to get that service.

Horrible early check in policy. They charge you $30 even though they are not busy. Never seen such a horrible policy before. Room was in poor shape with cabinet drawers broken and hanging out. Generally clean though.

Needed a $100 deposit incase of smoking or vaping in the room. Nothing was posted on Expedia or at the Baymont stating deposit required and for what. I nor my wife vape, smoke.

Nice stay

My stay was nice. The front desk was kind and checked me in and out quickly. The room was clean and quiet. I stayed only one night. It appeared the room was newly remodeled too. I would stay there again.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in for sometime, lovely homely breakfast room with lots of choices, with every day a cooked breakfast, even an automatic pancake making machine, just press button & watch it being made. Spotless room good bed with nice bedding lovely towels.

Fine for a basic, cheap hotel. Breakfast was decent. The drains in the sink and shower/tub were both partially clogged and backed up with water quickly when used, which is something that is a real "ick" factor for me, especially seeing old hair and bits of stuff float up. I also haven't been refunded the $100 hold put on my card for incidentals yet, normally that happens quickly with hotels. There's only this hotel and one other in the area, I'd probably try the other next time.

I stayed here due to its convenient location and reasonable pricing. My experience was different to say the least. The property clean, the room was pretty basic and walls are thin. There was a female there with a large dog that appeared to be vicious and barked incessantly. Im glad she had him leashed because he was really trying to get at people. I wasn't greeted anyone
