Una hermosa casa de vacaciones totalmente renovada. Nuevos muebles modernos decorados 1 dormitorio principal grande 1 cama matrimonial y 2 camas individuales y dos baños .1 cocina bien surtida y equipada 1 sala de estar grande y combinada y un comedor con chimenea y TV de pantalla grande. Una hermosa terraza al aire libre con capacidad para 6 personas para cenar afuera 1 proyectado en el porche con un hermoso patio grande con una barbacoa e impresionantes vistas al bosque, a 10 minutos en coche del lago Woodridge, natación, gimnasio, tenis, piscina y kayak.

Nota: El alquiler es propiedad completa, no espacio compartido.

Una hermosa casa de vacaciones de verano o invierno justo en el corazón del país, muy tranquila, muy hermosa y muy exclusiva comunidad arbolada del lago mucho para ver mucho por descubrir y explorar con mucha historia y tradición

This was my sister and my 3rd annual vacation. This house is beautiful! With all the windows, it was a real treat to watch as 2 storms rolled in with lightning and thunder. We do not typically have storms like that in Seattle. If you like to cook, everything you could need is provided. We had a blast and hated to leave. I appreciated how quickly Cindy responded when we had a question. On our last day, I even saw a bear! I had just mentioned to my niece that I never seen one. Well, I can now cross that off my bucket list! Thank you!!!

Summer adventure

The home was beautiful, the lay out was fantastic for everyone to have space on their own as well as gathering together. Great location. Excited to find the Five Points Art Center and Gallery in Torrington CT and yummy food at Meraki in Litchfield CT

Lovely and relaxing stay

This is a beautiful mid century modern house! The windows in the main room are huge and really fill the room with light, and the couch is large and comfortable. The whole space was very clean, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and the office provided a nice private place to take a zoom meeting or two. Comfortable beds, a pretty three season porch, and it was a perfect relaxing retreat for two teachers looking for peace and quiet on their spring break.

Lovely spot for a weekend getaway

Went there for a weekend with a friend to hole up and relax in February and it was lovely. Listing is accurate and Cindy was very easy to communicate with. Hot tub was great!

Absolutely wonderful!

Our weekend stay here was absolutely amazing. The house was spotless and had all the conveniences of home. The owner was quick to respond to any questions that we had. The hot tub was absolutely a selling point for us. We were so relaxed in this spacious house from the fully stocked kitchen, to the bathrobes, to the Awesome outside, screened in porch. The kids had a blast in the basement with ping pong, and the games stocked in the closet. I would love to come back in the spring and summer to experience the beauty of the neighborhood. We were there for just a short weekend for a ski trip nearby, and the Chalet’s location to the mountain as well as stores for firewood and restaurants to eat at, was totally perfect. We were highly impressed with this house and absolutely look forward to staying again, hopefully for a longer stay

I really enjoyed my stay. The home is very comfortable and inviting with beautiful design and style throughout. Love the huge windows and surrounding trees and plants. Lots of charm here. Wanted to visit my son in Litchfield around Halloween with my 2 teenaged granddaughters. The Goshen Glass Chalet was the perfect place for our visit. Loved every detail.

New Years Eve

Clean, beautiful house, functioning washer/dryer/ kitchen appliances. Hot tub worked great. Friendly and responsive host, was very receptive to a late checkout. Whole process was easy and I would definitely recommend this space to others. Great neighborhood in a lakeside community. Rural town, remote, safe.

Property not as stated

Cindy’s home, while generally very clean and has comfortable beds, is also very old and in desperate need of updating especially the kitchen and baths. The bath towels and bed linens smell unclean, the main bathroom sink plumbing backs up and the shower curtain is moldy. However, dealings with Cindy was much worse. Before booking Thanksgiving week I specifically asked if the spa was regularly maintained which Cindy stated yes. On our 2nd day we found the spa water cloudy, cold and with very powerful chemical odors. I adjusted the temperature and turned the jets on and within seconds the spa was full of scum and foam that covering the entire surface of the water. It is my understanding that this represents an imbalance of PH levels and/or high concentration of bacteria. I contacted Cindy who admitted the spa hasn’t been maintained in weeks and gave me instructions to change the filters, add more chemicals stored onsite and skim off the foam. Reluctantly I did so and reported back that this didn’t improve the condition of the spa. Cindy apologized and said she would send someone out to fix it. I never heard back until two days before our departure where she stated she would get someone out there on “Tuesday”, our departure day. I replied that we resolved to not using the spa and asked for a small refund for which she replied that I was not eligible for any refund and that I should use the spa as is and if I had any more questions, contact VRBO. Left property as instructed.

Woodridge Lake is a terrific place to vacation. The facilities are terrific and the region is incredibly scenic. We enjoyed this home that was just 5 minutes from the clubhouse/pool/beach/courts. The owner is gracious and accommodating.

Winter Weekend Getaway

A beautiful New England mountain home that would easily accommodate a nice sized family. Secluded enough for an anniversary trip for just 2. Any concerns or issues over the weekend were swiftly resolved through open communication with the property owners. Winter weather restricted any outdoor excursions but even still we were able to visit nearby towns to see local sites. We would definitely rent again in the future.
