Relax with the whole family at this peaceful retreat. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. Take a hike around the beautiful wooded setting. Bird watchers paradise! A seasonal creek flows through the backyard ravine during spring and after heavy rains.
This beautiful new construction is the upper level of a two story cabin. It features a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, living room, and gorgeous bathroom with slate walk in shower with rainfall showerhead. Upgraded King siz bed and a Full size Sealy air mattress with headboard for sleeping.
Step out on the large 10 x 30 deck and enjoy beautiful views of the ravine behind the property. Enjoy the use of the Solo Stove (fire pit) there is plenty of firewood for you to use for FREE. Relax in the hammock on the deck while listning to the birds and wind chime.

Host very responsive
Nice place smaller than expected. Good for our short 2 night stay and located close to hiking and nature. Bathroom is small and kitchen doesn’t have much counter space. Would be important to me if we stayed longer. Hot tub is located on lower level right outside the other rental so if it’s occupied you won’t have privacy. We took our pet who managed the stairs but it would not be good for a senior pet or person with limited mobility.

Minutes from lake of Egypt launch, cheaper than a hotel, cleaner and offers more than a hotel. Worked perfect for son and I. Owner responds very quickly to questions. Staying here two weekends in a row.

Spent a long weekend away with daughters on a hiking trip to Garden of the Gods and Ferne Clyffe Park. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. A little bit muddy because of construction/rain. But the deck over looking the backyard was very relaxing!
