Cullean Cottage is located in a quiet street within the heritage precinct of Goolwa, commonly known as Little Scotland. Two bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for up to four adults looking for a relaxing holiday on the southern Fleurieu Peninsular. A few steps from the front gate put you within sight of the River Murray and Hindmarsh Island. A short walk and you can access all that Goolwa township has to offer.

Cullean Cottage provides easy access to the Murray, Coorong and the nearby spectacular beaches. The main shopping strip of Cadell St, the Goolwa Wharf Precinct with its heritage railway offering Cockle Train trips, and local shopping centre are all just a short walk from the cottage. Goolwa is a beautiful town with a lot to offer visitors including pubs, bakeries, restaurants and cafes along with art galleries, markets, retail and other services that cater to the locals and visitors.

Goolwa is an excellent base to explore other beautiful spots along the south coast with Middleton, Port Elliot and Victor Harbor short car trips away, each providing alternative attractions for visitors. North of Goolwa are the winery regions of Currency Creek and Longhorn Creek. A trip to Hindmarsh Island is a must to visit the Murray Mouth, where the mighty Murray meets the sea and the Coorong begins.

Main bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with a double bed, both with built in robes for guests to use. All linen and bath towels provided.

Fully equipped kitchen featuring electric appliances; an oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave and fridge along with a toaster, sandwich press, food processor and all the cookware and utensils required to prepare meals. A drip filter coffee maker is provided along with ground and instant coffee plus a variety of teas.

Dining adjacent to the kitchen with seating for up to six people

Please note that Cullean Cottage is located within a quiet residential area surrounded by permanent, friendly residents so we ask that you respect them by keeping noise levels down. If you like playing loud music and partying late at night, then Cullean is not for you.

The street is very narrow and hence parking on the street is not permitted. The property driveway provides off-street parking for guest's cars but is not really suitable for travellers with caravans, boats, etc.

Travelling with a furry friend? One small to medium sized dog is allowed on the property (or two small dogs, by negotiation). The rear enclosed yard/patio is small and unsuitable for larger breeds. The front yard and driveway are not enclosed. Dogs are allowed inside and on the furniture, but please use covers/pet blankets provided at all times. A dog bed can be provided upon request. We do not charge a pet fee as we assume guests are responsible dog owners and will clean up after their fur babies. Dogs are not to be left unattended on the property at any time.
