Fantastic hosts - provided everything we needed as well as helpful advice and great attention to detail. From fresh flowers and a homemade cake upon our arrival to information about the area. High quality typical Austrian property - complete with several ceramic stoves - wonderfully soft beds. The view of the mountains from the house and private garden are spectacular. Best feature : bikes for our party of 9 to explore the beautifully serene countryside around Golling. One week was far too short ! Thank you Nina and Andy for an unforgettable holiday!

Das Mietobjekt entsprach in jedem Fall unseren Vorstellungen. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich herzlich und immer um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wir haben selten so tolle Vermieter kennen gelernt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle noch einmal für den wunderbaren Urlaub. Allerdings können wir allen nur davon abraten, über FeWo-Direkt zu buchen. Excellent point de départ et repos

La maison est fidèle aux photos, facile à vivre et avec une atmosphère très agréable. Le beau temps a permis de prendre les repas sur la terrasse et de profiter pleinement des vélos mis à disposition ( nombreuses balades depuis la maison du lac tout près à des cascades ou autres villages). Nous avions prévu pas mal d activités sport/nature ou culture mais les suggestions et l enthousiasme de Nina sont venus enrichir le programme au point que nous aurions voulu prolonger les 2 semaines ! La séance de yoga à la maison pour l équipe féminine reste un temps fort comme les concerts a Golling (alors que nous avions réservé Salzbourg). Nous avons vraiment apprécié la bonne humeur tres communicative des hôtes et les dizaines de conseils variés qui sont venus enrichir le séjour ou répondre aux questions du dresse code des différents lieux du festival ... Nous avions 4 jeunes de 15 à 22 ans qui ont particulièrement apprécié le cadre et les activités sur place ( marionnettes, concerts, activités nautiques et baignade dans les lacs, balades, espace RedBull, luge d'été , maison Mozart, musée d art moderne, musée de Noël ...). Il y a bcp à faire à moins de 30mn/1h de la maison

Schon bei der ersten Mail Kontakten könnte man ahnen, dass alles gut gehen wird. Unsere Vorstellungen würden aber übertroffen. Unsere Gastgebern Nina & Andy haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen und mit Ihrer Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht. Wir werden gerne wieder dort buchen.

Wunderschönes, rustikales Alpenhaus

Sehr schönes Haus mit einer sehr, sehr netten Gastgeberfamilie!! Es wurde sich wirklich um alles gekümmert - ganz toll. Die Größe vom Haus ( 280m2) ist ein wenig irritierend, da wahrscheinlich der Keller dort mit reingerechnet wurde. Es kommt einen wesentlich kleiner vor, aber trotzdem sehr schön!!

Unvergessliches Wochenende

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Mädels und hatten einfach ein unvergessliches Wochenende im schönen Forsthaus. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und bietet sehr viel Platz. Der nächste Bahnhof ist sehr nah, sodass wir schnell mit dem Zug nach Salzburg gekommen sind. Auch waren die Vermieter wirklich lieb, zuvorkommend und konnten uns einige gute Tips für unser Wochenende geben. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Great base near Salzburg

The house is charmingly situated among fields on the edge of Golling, a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We enjoyed hanging out in various parts of the yard--on the covered porch near firepit and grill, at the table under the apple tree, strolling the other grassy areas and nooks. The mountain scenery is dramatic.. The kitchen is well equipped, though we sometimes ate out in town at places suggested by our hosts, who are locals intimate with the area, in case the literature provided with the house didn't cover an interest. Large couches and dining table gave us plenty of room inside. My sons remarked on the comfort of the beds. All in all, a very nice house--decorated and furnished in an updated style, surrounded by the wood of an older house. Nina and Andy were excellent hosts. They were eager to provide things we needed, and brought over three mountain bikes (in addition to bikes already there) that we used twice (there's a great, easy ride up the Lammertal on a dedicated path). They clearly encouraged us to contact them with any concerns or needs, and made us feel welcome in their house and town. The town is very nice--a main street of eateries and shops, a food market, a nice church and fortress, and a hill above it with paths and benches. We decided to do without a rental car on account of the train service--frequent trains north to Salzburg (35 minutes) and south into other alpine areas. There are also numerous trails and bike routes in the area. A car would have extended our reach, however, including to the lake district and Hallstaat. But it was also nice to walk around and not have to deal with driving, rental, etc. We had a wonderful family week in Golling! Many thanks to Nina and Andy!

Beautiful Chalet in the Alps!

Our family (including 4 kids) spent an amazing week at this property. The setting is beautiful and quiet with incredible views. We particularly loved the outdoor space (BBQ, tree house, sandbox, lots of space to run around, bikes to use). The house is well equipped and the pictures are true to life. Nina is an exceptional host who went above & beyond; extremely helpful, responsive and provided great local recommendations. Great location (close to town & train station) and close to many summer activities (Salzburg, Konigsee, hiking, lakes, Summer Rodelbahn to name a few). Would recommend this property at any time!

Traumhafter Urlaub in tollem Haus mit wunderschönem Garten :)

Der Kontakt mit Nina war von Anfang an unkompliziert und der Urlaub begann eigentlich schon mit dem ersten Telefonat: Nina und Andy legen großen Wert darauf, dass man sich wohlfühlt und einfach entspannen kann. So war es dann auch bei der Anreise: kaum betrat man das Haus, fühlte man sich wohl, der Check-In war unkompliziert, wir bekamen einen Kuchen und Sekt und insgesamt ist die Hütte schick eingerichtet. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr schön, es gibt zusätzliche Toiletten in jedem Stockwerk. Zwei Zimmer sind ohne Türe verbunden, dort gibt es je ein Doppelbett und ein einzelnes Bett, uns hat das nicht gestört. Die Küchenausstattung (gemeint sind Kochutensilien, Topflappen, Putzlappen und Geschirrhandtücher etc.) ist leider nicht ganz so ausgeprägt gewesen wie erhofft, aber wir sind trotzdem gut zurecht gekommen und hätten wir gefragt, hätten Nina und Andy sicherlich gerne weitergeholfen. Der Grill außen ist super, Kohle und Anzünder sollte man allerdings mitbringen. Der Garten und Außenbereich lässt wirklich keine Wünsche übrig, einfach traumhaft dort zu sitzen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Auch für Kinder gibt es ein tolles Spielehaus und Spielzeug. Wir hätten es uns nicht besser wünschen können und wir alle waren sehr begeistert! Wir können einen Aufenthalt in Golling bei Nina und Andi nur empfehlen - wie gesagt: es war einfach traumhaft :)

Fantastic Austrian Chalet

We spent a week at Andy and Nina's chalet in Golling along with two other couples and had a fantastic time. The chalet was just as advertised and Andy and Nina couldn't have been more welcoming. From the pasty and Prosecco that was waiting for us when we arrived to Andy providing restaurant recommendations and then calling and making them for us, everything was tremendous. The mountain views from the chalet are spectacular. The town of Golling is only a 10 minute walk and there are a number of very nice restaurants, a well stocked grocery store, as well as a number of other shops, and cafes. Be sure to ask Andy for his restaurant favorites. We had a great time fly fishing in the gin clear Torrener Ache and hiking to the Golling waterfall, along with taking a day trips to Salzburg, the Eagles Nest, and an overnight trip to Vienna. We wished we could have stayed longer and would love to come back!! - Mark and Mary Hoffman

Felt like home in the Alps!

Our family of six just spent 6 nights here in July. We had plenty of room and loved the outdoor space with 3 separate sitting areas. The house was pretty much as pictured. It was a little warm during the day but nights and mornings were nice and cool. Nina and Andy went out of their way to be helpful from pick-up at airport, welcome cake and wine, dinner and tourist suggestions, etc. They even gave us a cell to call them at any time that we needed them. Only 10 minute walk to town or train station and my grandchildren loved riding the bikes that they provided. Would not hesitate to recommend !!!

Sensationelles Haus, sensationeller Urlaub!

Ein wunderschönes, liebevoll gepflegtes Haus am Eingan zum Bluntautal. Haus und Garten waren in tollem Zustand, die Ausstattung perfekt. Unsere Gastgeber Nina und Andy waren sehr bemüht und haben uns alle Wünsche erfüllt. Besonders genossen haebn wir die coolen Badezimmer, die Küche sowie den Essplatz unter dem Apfelbaum. Viele Nischen und Ecken bieten genug Platz - wir waren 8 Personen! Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder - ohne wenn und aber!!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway!

This house is incredible! It was very spacious and comfortable for our group of 4. We enjoyed the back patio everyday. The home was clean and function as well. It is in the perfect location for trips to Salzburg, hiking, and many other outdoor activities. Nina provided us with a fantastic pastry upon arrival, which was a nice surprise. Both Nina and Andy were great hosts, who gave us fantastic advice and assistance when exploring the area. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful home filled with Austrian charm and warm hospitlaity

My family of six just returned from a 12 night stay at this lovely home. Nina and Andy (the owners) went above and beyond to insure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We have visited the Salzburg area many times and usually stay in Salzburg itself. What a nice change of pace to stay in the quaint village of Golling! It proved to be a very convenient base for exploring the entire region. The home has so much character. Our favorite thing was the enclosed yard and garden. Our children (ages 2 and 7) spent many hours outside playing while we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Thank you Nina and Andy for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to return again in the future.

A stunning house in a beautiful part of Austria

As a well dispersedfamily (US/UK) we decided to book a family holiday to Europe rather than doing the routine trip across the pond. After an extensive search we found Nina and Andy 's property in Golling and decided to book it. From the initial contact they couldn't have been more helpful. Upon arrival as 4 couples arrived from different European locations Nina and Andy were on call to make sure everyone was ok and with my in-laws arriving first they showed them around the village and recommended places to eat and different activities. With a welcome bottle of sparkling wine and a wonderful home made cake we all felt at home in the property (which was stunning both inside and out) and enjoyed the views from the raised deck across the valley to the mountains. As the week progressed Nina helped us plan some trips with the benefit of their extensive local knowledge and contacts. We all thoroughly enjoyed the horse and carriage ride to the river and the lakes which are crystal clear. Overall our experience there was utterly fantastic and we all agreed we'd go back in a heart beat. Nina and Andy really are the very best hosts and made us all feel so welcome and that they had opened the doors of their home to us, something that is not always apparent when renting a property. We gave the review 5 stars because that's the maximum HomeAway allow!

Sehr schön und super liebe Gastgeber

Die Villa ist genauso schön wie auf den Bildern. Schönes Haus, toller Garten, sehr liebe Gastgeber - wir wurden persönlich mit Kuchen begrüßt und der Hausherr hat uns sogar den Grill angemacht. Es hat uns an nix gefehlt und wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Das Haus ist auch super gelegen, mit Blick in die Berge und fußläufig in die schöne kleine Ortschaft. Viele verschiedene Freizeitaktivitäten sind möglich und die Gastgeber hatten viele gute Tipps für uns. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Vielen Dank!

Chalet Hellbrunn

Wir waren nicht in diesem Objekt, sondern im Objekt Chalet Hellbrunn in Anif. Das Haus war sehr schön und war alles in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es gibt 4 Schlafzimmer, deshalb für 10 Erwachsene nicht wirklich perfekt. Für 8-9 Personen oder mit Kindern ist es sehr gut geeignet.
