Great for families

Great location, large room great for families. The pool is a little small and probably not the best for kids older than 7. One shallow area and one lap pool side where others are doing laps. But the room is lovely and great restaurant options.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel was run-down and dilapidated. We booked for the spa pool and heated swimming pool, but they weren't working in our tower. Staff reluctantly gave us access to Tower 1s pool, which was dirty and lukewarm. The rooms were average, but inconsistent. Curtains were falling off rails, dining chairs were worn out, and rugs were filthy. Lifts were slow and some weren't working. When my daughter left board games behind, I contacted the hotel, but they didn't follow up. We had to contact the new guests ourselves, who kindly returned the items. Unhelpful staff and poor service. Wouldn't recommend.

The apartment is spacious and clean. I will give it all 5 stars except for the fact that during our 3 day stay, the pump in the heated swimming pool is out of order. The manager has told us that if the pool cannot be fixed, they may arrange the guests to swim in the adjacent Sofitel hotel. Unfortunately, we have to leave after the 3 days' stay and would be grate if the arrangement can be made as soon as the pool matter is unsolved.

Very very close to dinning and shopping & it was Blues festival so was great atmosphere. Room was big & spacious. Very limited glasses and bowls & plates & platers etc for such a large kitchen. Towels were quite old and need to be replaced with new ones is my recommendation. Hall way to room absolutely stunk . Not sure if it was because it was close to a rubbish shoot or not . Wish we had enquired about that smell. Staff were lovely.

Stains, mould and leaky plumbing. I sent Peppers Broadbeach a complaint with the opportunity to acknowledge the many hygiene issues with the room but it has been seemingly ignored. The chairs had a lot of visible mould, the floor had multiple stains and the bath taps leaked water all over the floor requiring us to use our robes and towels to stop a flood. Wild that staff have been through this room, seen these issues and ignored them.

Peppers is in a great location, lots to do around Broadbeach. We booked an "ocean view" room as per Wotif description, but our room was not with an ocean view. Reception kindly changed our room to one that did have a limited beach view which was appreciated, but not what we paid for. We would have chosen a different place to stay had we known we would be looking at the back of other buildings. This was not what we thought we were booking as per the description and photos in the listing.
