Was a great place to stay! Far enough away from the main Surfers Precinct not to hear all the city noise and close enough to walk up to the beach and shops. Parking was easy and secure, building was clean and tidy and nice and quiet. Cant wait to stay there again. An unusual set up was the bedroom with the ensuite had the 2 single beds and the 2nd bedroom had the queen bed. Would have assumed the ensuite room would have had the larger bed set up, wasn’t a deal breaker, just a little different from other places I’ve stayed. All in all it was a great stay and Beautiful views in all directions!!!

I spent a week at Peninsular with my husband, 18 year old and 8 year old sons. Parking was great and free. The location was in walking distance to main street Cavill Ave etc. It wasn't a bad stroll but took roughly 15 minutes to get to the start of Cavill Ave. Wouldn't recommend it for anybody who has difficulty with mobility. The room itself was fine with a few minor issues: bathroom not cleaned well, some spoons and glasses clearly not washed properly as had remnants of food on them. Not a lot of dishwasher powder so we just bought dishwashing detergent and sponge. It was great to have a washer and dryer available, as we ended up needing it every day. Expedia site states that housekeeping is available once per stay but nothing was mentioned to us and we didn't end up getting our room cleaned during our stay. The managers were lovely and had great communication. Very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
