It exceeded our expectations. I had a little trepidation due to reviews about service levels but I have to say we did not experience anything negative just the opposite. Staff were attentive, pleasant and prompt. The property and room was gorgeous. Restaurants were amazing and service by the pool was great. On arrival we had a wonderful surprise waiting for us in the room from the hotel of champagne and Balloons for my husbands milestone birthday. The location is great and just a short walk to the bars and restaurants in Burleigh.

We loved our 3 night stay at The Mondrian over the Easter period. The staff were very attentive in all the areas. The rooms were impeccably designed and comfortable. We loved our Suite and housekeeping did an excellent job. Both Haven and Lito Restaurant were fabulous. Arthur looked after us so well at Lito. We will definitely come back again soon!

Everything was wonderful. Stunning view from our ocean front room. Automatic curtains were a nice touch and the staff were all lovely. Hot tub, pool deck and spa were very enjoyable spaces. Room was great- very spacious. We asked for a later service for room cleaning (after 12pm) but unfortunately it was not done. Also had a pair of headphones taken from the gym which were accidentally left after a workout- completely our fault but disappointed they were not handed in. A lesson learned to keep valuables safe.

Bad, bad, bad! This hotel has huge potential. The rooms are beautiful and on the most part, the staff are lovely. But when the hotel is busy all that potential is wasted. I tried weeks in advance to contact the spa to book treatments. Nobody responded. When I called in on arrival they were fully booked. Our phone didn’t work in the hotel room and despite mentioning this on day one, was never fixed. This meant we had to go down to reception every time we wanted to request something. Want to get a lift to your room/another floor? Make sure you build in 5-10 minutes for the lifts to arrive. They are glacially slow. I asked for a softer pillow on night one. The hotel had run out of pillows. The air conditioning controller in our room had a light so you could use it at night time. It flickered on and off all night making the room bright throughout the night. Asked for this to be fixed, but was never fixed during our stay and no offer to move to another room. Worst three nights sleep in months. The pool is lovely, but during school holidays is inaccessible. I’m all up for youngsters having fun but avoiding balls being thrown from one end of the pool to another is not fun. Sitting by the pool to ready a book? Prepare for kids that bomb into the water and splash everything. The pool just isn’t a relaxing space during school holidays. Really needs a lifeguard to monitor behaviour or even better, adult only or kids only session times at the pool. Experience doesn’t match the price tag!

Das Zimmer an sich ist schön. Es ist aber gar nicht isoliert. Um 08:00 Uhr am Morgen geht die Musik im Flur los und weckt einen auf, da es so laut ist. Wir haben jeden Morgen erneut angerufen, dass sie die Musik leiser stellen sollen, hat aber nichts gewirkt. Am nächsten Tag wieder das gleiche… Sehr viele Kinder im Hotel, die man ebenfalls hört am Pool spielen, da dass Zimmer so schlecht isoliert ist. Hotel hätte sehr viel Potenzial, ist aber im Moment im Maximum nur ein 3 Sterne Hotel.

Room was amazing and had the nicest staff . All were super friendly and extremely helpful. From The very first a check in with Winnie and Georgia , they were so lovely and genuinely nice girls.. definitely talking about coming back soon.. loved it Ps. Loved the santal 33 in bathroom. One of my favourite scents
