We had no soap. The hand shower was broken. The light was unsafe with no cover and in arms reach for breaking bulb. No milk, only one tea bag. The curtains were all ripped and dirty from closing them. Sorry we don't have photo's we just wanted out of there. We are now at the Meriton and it is like another world after Hope Island, just amazing.

I liked the simplicity of the property and how it provides all basic amenities including a working tv (the kitchen is slightly small), the neighbours are also good and quiet with a beautiful view of the river. The staff members were also friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like was how confusing the locks were else wise everything was good.

On arrival, reception person was very abrupt until we mentioned we booked through Expedia, an then he became very helpful. Restaurant staff were dismissive of us. Cereal container was empty and was not refilled even on request. The do it yourself small breakfast was a good option. Comfortable bed.

The staff were helpful and friendly food was nice view was wonderful. The horrible things were the cleaning of the room there was mould in the shower and dirty cotton buds in the bathroom carpet needs replacing there should be an undercover part for smoking
