Because it was a boat property it was unique. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. It was very hot, and there was no air conditioning so the windows had to be left open. Lots of noise off the river as a result. Great rooftop to relax and enjoy the river sights. Very pretty at night. Nice morning breakfast and Michael the host was helpful and friendly. The location along the downtown was awesome. It was expensive to have a car because of the 24 hour parking on the street.

MODERATE RANKING

The general impession was moderate. The hotel receptionist was kind and very friendly. The upper deck was a beautifull place to take your breakfast. The breakfast was mediocre. The location of the hotel was convenient; quiet neigbourhood, with good access to the public transportation. The hotel itself was a unique experience since it was actually a boat. I and my wife were staying in the first floor (main deck). The room was offering a spectacular view of the city and the sea-canal since one wall of the four was actually a huge window. When sleeping we had the feeling that we were soaring just over the sea surface. This glass wall was an advandage but at the same time it was a big disanvantage. During afternoon the sun was heating the room, increasing the internal temperature in skyrocketing levels. There were blinds but the usage of them was hiding the view, thus making one feel like being in an ordinary hotel room. If we were daring not to make use of the blinds, then we were losing our privacy! Many boats with tourists were passing by our window every five minutes and full of curiosity they were wathcing us inside the room. Some of them didn't miss the chance to salut us and of course we repayed their kindness. Overall impression: moderate. Probably I would stay again because I like the diversity, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend
