Updated Private Mountainside Home. 4BR in Bartlett, near Jackson + No. Conway
Tranquil Retreat with Fabulous Views. Family Friendly!
Welcome! For your getaway, reward yourself with a comfortable private home instead of a noisy condo complex.
Located in Bartlett NH, our home is super close to skiing, hiking, golfing, shopping, Jackson, North Conway, Story Land + all the fun the Mount Washington Valley has to offer.
We run several calendars on different venues, so pick the plan that works for you (including Air). We are proud to be a Premier Host.
If you seek privacy and serenity, our spotless + remodeled 4 Bed / 3 Bath / 3 Level home is for you! Located on a private, wooded 2 acre site yet very close to all Valley activities.
Huge windows throughout face Attitash Ski Area + provide stunning mountain views. The main living area boasts an open concept. The living room features great views, leather seating, flat screen TV (with RoKu - so bring your login codes!), and wood stove.
The sparkling kitchen is newly re-imagined with gorgeous granite, cherry cabinets, stainless appliances, and seating for Six (a farmhouse dining table also seats 6). The first floor has a bedroom (Queen bed), remodeled bathroom, mud room, sun porch, and access to a massive outdoor deck.
The live-edge staircase leads to two more bedrooms + a remodeled full bath. The huge master has a new king mattress + fantastic mountain views. The other upstairs bedroom has a twin bunk bed over a comfortable queen-sized mattress.
Downstairs, you will find a game room with air hockey, bubble hockey, and tons of board games. Adjacent is a bedroom with twin bunks, as well as a bathroom with washer + dryer.
The large wraparound deck features 2 patio sets, ski chair lift swing, and Weber propane BBQ grill. Kick back, take in the views + clean mountain air, and listen to the sound of the babbling brook. The yard has a fire pit with Adirondack ski chairs for relaxing + toasting marshmallows.
If you are planning a Ski Trip there are 4 ski resorts within a 5-15 minute drive (Attitash, Wildcat, Cranmore, and Black Mountain). Bretton Woods and King Pine areas are about a 30 minute drive. There is wonderful cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in nearby Jackson + North Conway. Outlet shopping in No. Conway is just minutes away. The kids will love Storyland. There are tons of restaurants and pubs close by.
Some Q & A:
1. Q: Any flexibility with the calendar + rates? A. Yes! Check with us before booking for latest accuracy; we have large swaths that may be made available. Just ask.
2. Q: Why a Rental Agreement? A: To be transparent, outline respective obligations, and avoid misunderstandings.
3. Q: How do your rates compare to other area rentals? A: More than fair! Our private, updated, well-located home + amenities are desirable to most in the Valley. We prefer not to rent at all than chase the last dollar. Thus the property is not shabby + worn down.
4. Q: What about Heat and Cooling? A. There are several heat sources. Wood Stove on main level. Kerosene wall heaters on main and lower levels are highly efficient and a primary heat source. And electric baseboard is everywhere throughout house. For Cooling, as with most homes in the Valley, ours was not constructed with a/c. We have portable A/C units in the Master Bedroom, top floor queen bunkroom, and the Queen bedroom (First floor). These work awesome. There are fans galore for use elsewhere in the home.
5. Q: Why both insurance + damage deposit? A: The insurance is to help cover accidents, and the deposit (and Agreement) incentivizes good, conscientious behavior. We have had awesome, mindful guests + have never kept a damage deposit. Nor filed an insurance claim. This dual approach has kept the house in top shape.

Great house, perfect location
Lovely home with a gorgeous view situated close enough to hiking, restaurants, and sightseeing while being quiet, private, and a great place to relax. House was clean, nicely updated, and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Great place to stay; we will be back!

Beautiful home
Exactly as described. The view is breathtaking!
The house is beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you could possibly need. I’ve stayed in other VRBO properties that were furnished with mismatched furniture and dishes. The beds were all extremely comfortable. The kitchen has a 5 burner gas stove, matching pots and pans as well as dishes and glasses. There’s a toaster as well as a toaster oven and 2 different coffee pots. Morning coffee on the deck was just what I needed. The washer and dryer were an added bonus traveling with a little one. The host responded immediately to the few questions we had and was very gracious.
Would not hesitate to recommend or book again if our travels bring us back to the area

Beautiful home however…
The house is beautiful and clean and had a lot of things in case you forgot something. There are great Mountain View’s rear of the home nice neighborhood however not in walking distance to a store or anything. House has 4 bedrooms 2 of which have bunk beds. Also there is a camera right in your face as you enter the home especially uncomfortable at night when the bright spot light comes on there is also a garage with another surveillance camera. Made us quite uncomfortable. There is only AC in 2 of the bedrooms we went in July and during the day the house got so hot you literally were sweating just sitting down. Even while using fans which the house provided I use to take my grandmother up north with me, in July and August this property would not be good for elderly people who want to stay in the home and enjoy while younger people go out during the day it’s too hot. Overall as far as the house it suited our needs and was quite clean and well stocked which is very important to me. However the cameras and lack of AC in the entire home were issues for us.

Exactly what we all needed
We've been vacationing in North Conway for many years and this was the first house rental as we typically stay at hotels. Jeff and Jen's home is situated ideally for family activities and skiing. Everything we needed was right there. The house was clean, organized and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better vacation week. Jeff was super responsive and very helpful! We will certainly plan another stay in the future! Thank you Jeff and Jen!!

Great last week before school
We had a great end of summer stay at Rock Ledge! House was clean and spacious enough for several adults and a few kids, with three levels and three bathrooms. It's central to our favorite area attractions, and the view of Attitash and the Moats was the perfect way to wake up every morning.

Great White Mountain Getaway!
If you are looking for a peaceful vacation home in the White Mountains, then this is your place! One of our favorite things was waking up to a mountain peak everyday! Spacious home, that was as advertised - plenty of room for our family of four and for sure could have held more people, if needed. Jeff and Jen reached out a few times to see if we needed anything, which was appreciated. We enjoyed our stay overall here and would come back if we vacation in the White Mountains of New Hampshire again!

Wonderful Experience
We had a wonderful time at this cozy home with a location that is simply awesome and just can not be beat! My husband and I have three kids ages 8-10 and the air hockey was a huge hit! We had a wonderful weekend of hiking and taking in all of the gorgeous foliage. The owner was outstanding in terms of communication and assistance and could not have been nicer. All-in-all an extremely pleasant experience and we hope to be back!

Awesome stay at a beautiful home!
From my request to reserve, to checkout, Jeff was so communicative on every level of the process. The property and house was perfect for us. Fun decor, stocked kitchen, exceptionally clean throughout and the mountain view from the master bedroom was beautiful. My boys loved the air hockey, bubble hockey, games provided and fire pit outside.
The location was perfect to restaurants, golf courses, N. Conway, Mt Washington, Echo Lake and Diana s Baths. We ventured to Santa s Village which was adorable! Thank you again to Jeff and Jen for offering this home to be our home for the week.
This was a much needed getaway for our family. We may visit again in the snow!

Great base for hiking and relaxation
We had a lovely stay. The property is nicely nestled in trees in a hilly neighborhood with privacy from other houses, but still only a few minutes' drive from groceries, gas and restaurants. The owners were helpful and easy to work with. The house has lovely views, a great fire pit, and all the kitchen items we needed to cook several meals. It was clean and comfortable, and the internet worked well.

Wonderful Rental!
We were one of two families that rented Jeff and Jen’s place together for the MLK weekend. I have to say, of the numerous places we have rented, this is one of the best! The home was spotless, wonderfully decorated and the views were amazing! We were 7 people and there was plenty of room. Jen and Jeff provided plenty of supplies like toilet paper, soap, etc. They also provided excellent instructions for using the home. Everything was perfect! We got lots of snow on Saturday night and the plow driver was there by about 7:30am Sunday morning to clear us out. We couldn’t have asked for more! My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely rent this home again. Thanks Jeff and Jen!

The house is great, very well kept and in an excellent location. Easily accomodated our group of 6.
Jeff was very quick to respond to our initial request and has stayed in touch throughout our stay, responding quickly to any questions that might have had. The house is excellently kept up, I could tell that the owner cares. The location is hard to beat, close to everything and yet secluded enough. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to rent from Jeff again in the future.

Beautiful vacation home, helpful owners, great location
We were a party of two families who stayed over during a holiday weekend with a snowstorm. We had a great time--kids loved the air hockey table, bunk beds, big collection of kids' movies, and fun yard to play in. Adults enjoyed the beautiful setting, well-equipped kitchen, wood stove that kept the living room nice and cosy, and thoughtful text/email from Jeff to make sure we were doing OK logistically with the snow. We skied Bretton Woods two days and the drive there was fine. We hope to come again!

Wonderful mountain home close to it all!
We had a wonderful stay at the Glen Mountain retreat! The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed (modern/fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace, tv/dvd, game room), tastefully decorated to feel like a cosy chalet, with beautiful views from every room and a lot of room for 7 guests to spread out! Jeff, the owner was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay, with great suggestions on things to do around the area. Great skiing is only a few minutes away (Attitash, Cranmore, Wildcat, etc) as well as a lot of other fun activities like x-country skiing and horse sleigh rides in Jackson. Storyland is only a few minutes away so this is a great summer spot for families with kids!
