Loved our stay at Seahorses!

We loved the location - Thunder Bay is one of our favourite beaches on the island so it was great to be within 2 mins walking distance and bus stops nearby. The property looks as shown and described on the listing and was clean and in excellent condition. The setup with three bedrooms/bathrooms and washing facilities is great - you can also watch the monkeys in the neighbours garden in the morning!We traveled with a 2 year old and a high quality travel cot was provided. The only thing to consider if staying with a child is the stairs, as they are hard stone - we were lucky our boy would wait for an adult to help him. If you stay with a large group, there's not enough hot water for all to shower at the same time. We didn't mind too much as a cool shower after a hot day at the beach can be refreshing.The owner was also quick to respond and happy to help.

Family Vacation

First of all I want to start by saying how great Gillian was. She came immediately to check out an air conditioner issue. That she was able to fix. She was always prompt with responding with any questions we may have had. She honestly was one of the best owners we’ve rented from. The home was perfect for our family. The beach across the street was beautiful. We did rent a car. That worked best for us because we had 6 adults. We were able to come and go as needed without waiting on a bus. The buses do come fairly often so if you choose to take that option I’m sure it would be fine.

Beautiful Home, Great Location

Had a great stay at the Seahorses for a family vacation. The house is new, very clean, well furnished and conveniently located between Speightstown and Holetown (we had a car which I would recommend). Great views of the ocean and beach located just across the street. Also, Gillian is an incredible host. She was extremely responsive and quickly addressed any questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Gillian’s property. The townhouse is located across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island (Thunder Bay Beach). The accommodations were very clean and spacious. I highly recommend Seahorse Villa for your stay!

Perfect getaway house

Quick getaway for our family of 4 with near adult children and this house provided for an excellent vacation! With the spacious and comfortable bedrooms and incredible 3rd floor open living space overlooking the nightly sunset, it really was a great space to relax and rejuvenate. The 2 minute walk across the road to beautiful Thunder Beach definitely makes it an even more fantastic property. Pool and outdoor lounge area is lovely and serene. If considering Barbados, this property should be at the top of the list for your stay.

Family fun

We had a fabulous holiday….i can’t recommend this property more! Our host was amazing….nothing appeared to be any trouble and she responded to needs/questions straight away! The Town house is beautiful and finished to a high specification…incredibly spacious, spotless and kitted out with all the little extras….smart tv…Bluetooth speakers etc! The location is also perfect! Right opposite a beach and the reggae reggae busses pick up literally across the road! They run up and down from speighstown to Bridgetown all day! As a family that come to Barbados most januarys we won’t hesitate to rebook and I would highly recommend this property to anyone! We had a fabulous stay!

5 star accommodation in perfect location

We are frequent visitors to Barbados and can honestly say this has been our best experience yet! This newly appointed townhouse is perfect for a group- family or friends. It is beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. It has everything you need. Gillian is an excellent host and very attentive. The location is perfect just a few steps away from An idyllic beach although we did make an effort this time to visit more beaches than usual. It’s very easy with or without a car to travel up and down the west coast road to access all the fabulous restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at SeaHorses. We will be back in the summer I hope!! thank you xx

Relaxing stay in St James

This home is lovely, with tasteful finishes and beautiful artwork. It’s clean, new and modern. We were a family of 5 with a young child and older children. The home was spacious and we could all spread out. Beds were comfortable. The view of the beach was perfect and as depicted in the photos. The beach is across the road, literally 50 steps. The proximity to Thunder Bay Beach and the location between Holetown and Speightstown is perfect, close to the bus routes, etc. We did not rent a car but opted instead to use the yellow vans to go out to l a restaurants and shops. This home was stocked with items you’d expect to use (ie soap, detergent, cleaning and cooking essentials, etc) Thunder Bay beach is perfect with its calm and tranquil waters, and not overcrowded. There’s a beach bar there and people who provide beach chairs and umbrella. It was the perfect stay. And finally, Gillian was the perfect host, friendly and responsive and left you alone to enjoy. We would definitely return to Sea Horses. (Pls note the home is new and sometimes GPS don’t pick it up. So in case helpful, we told people St Albans Anglican Church or Thunder Bay Beach as a landmark as the townhouse is across the street.) Thank you!
