The hotel has been falling in standard since it was converted from Steigenberger. The hotel is still a nice place to stay but the staff, seems like they sometimes don't know what they're doing and not very customer service focused

This is a lovely hotel. I stayed here last year, booked a superior room and emailed the hotel to ask for a view of the city. They replied they would do their best. On booking in I asked again about a city view and got given one, my sons who were with me were given a city view as well. No extra charge, no mention of free upgrade. This year I booked 2 Superior rooms and again emailed the hotel about a city view. The reply I got was that I did not qualify for a city view as I had booked Superior rooms and I would have to pay 15€ per night per room for a city view in an upgraded Deluxe room. I was stunned as we were given city views in 2024 at no extra cost and no one mentioned we were being upgraded so I thought we were in Superior rooms with a city view but according to SS who replied we were given DeLuxe rooms. The cost per night was then reduced to €10 per room per night and after a few emails back and forth could not get the price reduced any more. ( the person replying was not very nice) I requested rooms 321 and 323, same rooms as last year, and got these on arrival. The city view is fantastic and when I come again next year I'm going to request rooms above these on the 4th floor, superior rooms of course as I enquired and they have them on the 4th floor. Disappointing that the room don't have a fridge to keep water cool as it was very hot when we were there, 11-16th August. We requested fans for the rooms and these were delivered straight away.

Lovely hotel near old town

Nice big clean rooms. Car park below hotel had plenty of EV chargers so that was useful. Service was great as well. Location was great - only a 5 min walk to the old town

Looks nice but a lot needs to change!

The room was nice only centralized airco with outside temperature 38°C. They couldn't turn it down so it resulted in a hot room. They opened the locked windows for which I had to sign a form that I wouldn't jump from the 5th floor. Wifi...you have to go to the reception and they put it in...a bit difficult with 3 phones snd a laptop. The next morning you should do the same again at the reception because waking up...no wifi. No coffee/tea faciliries. For the first time in Germany, 17% tax was added to th restaurant invoice.

An ideal hotel for my visit to Osnabrück. Located near the old town and within walking distance to everything I needed, it was an immaculately clean property, with large spacious rooms that I would definitely return to and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is great and very central, unfortunately a hotel employee opened suddenly our room without asking before and the hotel has no parking, althrough it is possible to park in a public parking in front of the hotel therefore we give 1 star for service and misleading info.

I have been travelling to this hotel for over 20 years now noticed this very drastic change in terms of the customer service and the engagement of the staff generally with the guest. It was always one of my favourite hotels to travel to, but on this trip, I will say that I was quite disappointed with how indifferent and at times rude the staff were during my stay.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, with views over Osnabruck as requested. The only down side was the lack of a fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool. We also had no air conditioning but were offered fans which were delivered to our room within minutes of requesting them.

This hotel may have had 5* in the past and could again possibly with a little refurb. The staff & service was great, as the location. I would have liked a kettle in the room and our pillows were very flat although the bed was very comfortable.

Poor Wi-Fi connection in my room

Wi-Fi signal was very weak in my room. I asked the front desk multiple times to address the issues and they made promises but the problems remained for the 3 days I was there. My colleagues in other rooms had the same issues.
