Good for one night stay prior to catching ferry to Tasmania. Upgraded to family room at check-in. Lots of space with comfortable bed. Property very conveniently located to supermarket and other shops.

Our initial room had a lot of ants on the walls and counters and some on the bed. When we complained we were told "This is Australia, there are ants everywhere". I have been an Australian for 34 years and I have never had ants in my hotel room before. We were moved to a different room after we protested. The second room was great! Very spacious, comfortable bed. Would have given it a higher star rating if not for the ants.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was refreshingly clean, the bathroom had all amenities. There is a shopping centre across the road, which has dining options and a supermarket, as well as a Kmart. It was a short stop for us, as we had disembarked from a day sailing on the Spirit of Tasmania.
