Excellent location, clean big rooms, comfortable beds, nice staff, fresh and crispy patisserie's croissants (or other options like traditional pasticciotto), refurbished shower rooms, flexibility of remote check in, easy free parking in the same road of the Palazzo, all basic necessities in the room like intimate gel, shower cap, body lotion, shower gel, soap etc Hotels.com managed poorly the check-in info, we arrived and we had no instructions. With foreign mobiles getting available line was difficult and we stayed outside for 15 minutes before being able to connect with the host. They will give you a code for the door and tell you which room to enter, this could be done via email for foreigners to avoid signal issues with international calls, apparently another famous site to book gives more information. Another point to remember is that being the rooms very big with high ceiling the air con may struggle to cool them down completely, so factor this if you go during the peak of summer and you suffer with heath (I'd say the room can be cooled at around 25-26°) The only negative point is that the WiFi access is not in the rooms but just in the communal area

lovely hotel -close to old town

lovely place to stay. walking distance from the old town. Really sweet lady working there. made us feel very welcome and looked after. even let us take a shower after we check out-and leave out lugage.

Owners speak only Italian and no English. Also all signs are only Italian language. Italian breakfast is missing continental items.

Bien situé, 5mn a pied de la vieille ville. Chambre spatieuse et literie confortable. Et surtout le charme de la batisse!!! Accueil très sympathique.

Отель расположен на 2 этаже жилого дома. Почти музейная обстановка в отеле, доброжелательная хозяйка, не далеко от вокзала. Очень уютная, вкусная и дешевая кафешка под балконом отеля. Проживающим в отеле - бесплатный проход на пляж. Завтраки стандартные для Италии. Ресепшен работает до 11.00. Поэтому о времени приезда лучше сообщать заранее, чтобы не ждать под дверью.

La stanza era veramente piccola

Si tratta di un bel palazzo dell'800 elegantemente arredato sul corso principale di Gallipoli, a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. La proprietaria è molto gentile così come la sua collaboratrice. Forse siamo stati sfortunati, ma ci è capitata una stanza veramente piccola, bisognava organizzarsi per aprire una valigia di medie dimensioni, e non c'era neppure lo spazio per una piccola scrivania su cui appoggiare il computer portatile. La colazione è buona, ma non è internazionale, e non si poteva consumare stando seduti fuori sul terrazzo come descritto. Ad agosto abbiamo pagato €150 a notte per una matrimoniale, un po' caro considerata la stanza. Il prezzo dovrebbe essere sotto i €100.

Läget är utmärkt med närhet till gamla stan och dess mysiga gränder. Det finns mycket affärer och restauranger i närheten. Trevligt och fint på alla sätt men som sagt säng och kuddar inget vidare. Italiensk frukost är ju som bekant inget för oss nordbor... men man vänjer sig.

Sehr nettes Hotel mit einfachen Zimmern in einem zentral gelegenen, herrschaftlichen Palazzolo. Beste Zimmer in der obersten Etage, die durch die Dachterrasse mit toller Sicht aufgewertet werden. Schade, dass der Frühstücksbalkon keine Morgensonne hat. Sehr nette Betreuung durch Patrizia.

B&B Palazzo Angelelli di Gallipoli - Molto bono, qualche piccola manutenzione da fare

Il Bed & Breakfast è bello, la proprietaria molto gentile e simpatica, la colazione abbastanza variegata con dolci imperdibili. La posizione è molto centrale, anche troppo: dalla nostra camera, che dava sulla strada, si sentiva tutto fino a notte fonda. La camera era carina e pulita, con frigorifero e televisore. Il bagno molto carino, un po' piccolo, ma c'è tutto (salvo lo shampoo: portatelo!) Da due librerie si possono scegliere libri di vario tipo da leggere durante il soggiorno, con l'invito a tenerseli nel caso non li si avesse finiti. L'unica pecca è in alcuni dettagli di manutenzione: il box doccia era malandato, le porte-ante del balconcino facevano un cigolìo terrificante, l'ascensore ha un vetro crepato e a volte bisogna premere il pulsante della serratura una decina di volte per poter uscire. Nel complesso vale la pena, e il prezzo è stato buono.
