I recently stayed at the Blue Dolphin Inn, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, and the innkeeper was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The check-in process was straightforward, although you have to drive a bit further down from the inn to reach the check-in spot, which is on the left-hand side marked by the distinctive Blue Dolphin sign. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and we're already planning our next visit. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the hospitality and charm of the Blue Dolphin Inn. We want to see all the places back to its full potential there in Grand Isle. Favorite place to come as a kid.

I liked the cottage but it was not cleaned when I checked in. When I told the office it hadn’t been cleaned yet he said “check in isn’t until 3:00”. It was 2:58 when I checked in.

I like all of the items available for use- such as beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... I liked that the staff is super friendly. I didn't like that I couldn't check in early, and the room, while it smelled pleasant- was sprayed with some type of air freshener or cleaner that was really overpowering when we first arrived.

Great Stay

I took my kids for a 4 day stay during their college Spring Break. We were completely happy with signing in. We had a great stay. When booking keep in mind this is a small 2 bedroom house. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton!!! But, it was an awesome place for us. We had seaside view so we could see the Gulf any time of day!
