Front desk was bit off putting rather dismissive. Room was over railway track and shabby backend of hotel....horrid actually. Front of hotel has lovely view of bay. I doubt very much the htel was ful as we saw few people and was mid week..they could have put us in room with a view. Quite a ways from Galle central/fort...not walkable and nothing much to do near this hotel. Lovely rooftop resto though.

Beautiful hotel opposite the beach

The room was excellent with balcony and sea views. Very peaceful and relaxing. Located near shops and restaurants. If only the staff were a bit friendly then it would have been even nicer. The only other thing that would have made it perfect was the lack of hand towels in the bathroom.

Friendly staff and lovely breakfast served at the rooftop restaurant. Shame that the bar doesn’t serve alcohol yet and rooms could be cleaner (dusty floors and marked walls) with a few small improvements it would be a great hotel!

Staying at Fairway Sunset.

The hotel is just outside the main town of Galle, so it meant taking a tuk tuk each time when going into Galle town, the journey is about 10-15 mins depending on the time of day. . The hotel was very clean, very friendly staff. Buffet breakfast - plenty of choices. Rooftop dinning room - great views. The bedroom I stayed in was clean and bed was very comfortable. However limited shelving in bathroom for placing toiletries and the hotel should have a mirror in the bedroom. The only mirror available was in the bathroom.

Very new, mid-sized hotel about 2.5 miles from entrance to the Fort on the sea front. Clean modern rooms, nice rooftop location for breakfast, very friendly staff. Apart from distance from town, the main negative is they are charging exactly double the rate of everywhere else I saw/asked/used for the car transfer to/from Colombo Airport.

最上階のバーは、いつもclosedしていた。 でも、瓶の飲み物を持っていって開けるのを頼んだら、冷えたグラスと一緒に持ってきてくれた。 700mのところに、サーフィンビーチもあり、夕陽を見ながら地元価格の食事もできました。
