Great stay!

This house was perfect for our family get-a-way. Due to hot temps and thunderstorms we spent more time at the house than anticipated. It was great! We loved the hot tub, pool table, and the huge tv. The property is secluded, quiet and beautiful. My kids loved the neighboring sheep, they were pretty entertaining. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s a quick easy drive into downtown Galena. We all want to come back!

Our stay was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! It’s an absolutely beautiful property! We had a group of 8 and we were all very comfortable our entire stay! Extremely comfortable beds! Absolutely beautiful wood work throughout the entire house! Lots of room! Hot tub worked great! Lots of outdoor spaces and seating areas if you need a break away from your group! We did wish the fire spot was a little closer to the house but it’s big enough for everyone and surrounded by beautiful scenery to enjoy along with very happy talkative sheep right next to you! Very peaceful little spot! Perfect getaway for a group of girls who love the wilderness! It’s also very close to town and a beautiful kayaking spot! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend and we hope to be backsoon on our next girls trip to Galena! Pictures definitely didn’t do this one justice! We were completely shocked how amazing it was once we arrived!

HIGHLY recommend!

From start to finish this was the best stay I’ve ever had. Host had AMAZING communication. The property was nothing short of perfect. The scenery was beautiful, the home was clean and accommodating, and overall it was the perfect place to stay for a weekend trip with family!

Weekend stay

We had a weekend planned in Galena. My daughter’s bachelorette party. We did a wine tour all day and then arrived back to the house for the evening. Very spacious home and the girls loved the hot tub. Kitchen was perfect for entertaining. Beds were comfy and nice big bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again !

Quick weekend getaway

My wife and I booked this place with two other couples for a weekend friends getaway. We had a blast! We actually all agreed our favorite part of our two day trip to Galena was the first night where all we did was stay in and play games, hang in the extra large hot tub and enjoy each others company. There was a good snow storm and it added to the wonderful experience and ambiance. One of our friends even said "this was by far the best VRBO I've ever been in" and we agree. It was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and the host kept great communication. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic house and hosts!

My friends and I came up for a quick snowboard trip and the house was everything we could have asked for. Clean and spacious. Close to the town. The hosts were amazing and when we had any issues or questions, they responded back promptly. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back here for all of our Galena trips.

Fantastic Holiday Get-Away

We celebrated our Christmas eve and Christmas day at this lovely home. We brought our own mini-travel Christmas tree to discover when we got there a tree already set up! We were able to put our presents under the tree and have a lovely family gathering being together. This home was a perfect place to celebrate. The hot tub was welcome for the cold evenings and shopping in Galena on the 24th and 26th were great! The location is fantastic. The house was comfortable. We were able to cook a Christmas dinner and many other meals. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous house and setting!

This house is gorgeous! Comfortable family room and beds. I loved my bed!!! We saw deer, sheep, hawks and squirrels! That was the icing on the cake!!! The owners are very prompt with replies and I felt very welcomed! I’ll be back!

Great weekend getaway!

House was very clean. The property was beautiful. The sheep might’ve been the best view to wake up to! Property was easy to access even at night. We realized WAZE took you to the wrong house so I suggest using Google maps or Apple Maps when going. Beds were comfortable and the showers were beautiful. Theresa was easy to get ahold of and helpful! We will definitely be back!
