July 4th weekend stay

First time in the Galena area and we are hooked! The resort and condo were beautiful and so peaceful. There was a bit of trash left in the condo when we checked in but was in general clean and very comfortable. Already looking forward to coming back!

Oldie But A Goodie

3 BR condo, 3 floors in the Galena Territory. Unit is probably 35 years old or so. Well kept, quiet and perfect for my wife & I plus another couple. Main BR & bath very spacious, comfortable. Top floor BR/bath & sitting area a tad smaller but still accommodating. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed. Main room was great for relaxing, conversing, nice couch & accent chairs. Minor flaws include the following. A/C doesn’t cool top BR as well as main floor. There is a ceiling fan but on higher speeds it’s noisy plus it wobbles. We kept it on low speed which was fine. May want to check to make sure it’s anchored to the ceiling properly. Lower level laundry room & BR is a bit humid on hot summer days. Additional refrig in laundry room offers more cold space. Blinds in top BR are not room darkening. If you like to sleep in grab BR on first floor. Some black curtains or a darker shade would help. Didn’t use TV’s much. Everything is on ROKU. Can’t just turn on and tune in local channels. Front entry doorstep is cluttered with pine straw & tree debris. Just use a blower to clean it up. First impressions set the tone.Despite these issues this property offers a very comfortable, quiet, no hassle stay. Our guests enjoyed the property very much. Great getaway location. We would stay again.
