Welcome to "The Little Whale" ocean apartment !!

A beautiful apartment just completely renovated with a panoramic view across the "Dragon Tail Mountains", the Atlantic ocean and Tenerife Island from the terrace. Relax and enjoy the fresh air while reading, eating or doing yoga.

It has a comfortable double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living-room, with a warm floating floor to walk barefoot. A completely new bathroom and a completely new fully-equipped kitchen, also with floating platform and ceramic floor. It also has a large terrace with a wooden floor, deck chair, table and chairs. With tv and wifi.

I am environmentally friendly with all cleaning products and laundry powders for bedding, towels, etc. Being made with eco products. I also offer natural or organic products as welcome gifts, such as gel & shampoo, local fruit, tea, coffee and bio sugar cane and extra virgin olive oil.

"The Little Whale" is a family friendly apartment with baby accesories (cot, highchair and babybath). I also provide yoga mats, beach rackets, towels and a parasol.

For surf & bodyboard lovers, there are a lot of spots: 5 minutes by car, "EL FRONTÓN" famous bodyboard big wave (only advanced) and in between 20 - 35 minutes by car all the best all levels north shore surfing spots of Gran Canaria. We are surfers so we can advice you for surfing spots, renting boards / surf classes..In 55 minutes you reach Pozo Izquierdo, famous place for the best WINDSURFING.

A beautiful fully renovated apartment with breathtaking panoramic views of the sunset over the "Dragon's Tail", the Atlantic Ocean and the island of Tenerife.

It has a room with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed in the living room, both with warm floating floor to walk barefoot ... A completely new bathroom and a kitchen also renovated and equipped with everything you need for a happy stay, also with floating floor and tile. The oceanfront terrace has wooden floorboards, chaise lounges, table and chairs and fantastic ocean views. Tv and wifi.

I am in favor of protecting the environment and all the cleaning of the house, towels, sheets, etc. Is made with environmentally friendly cleaning products. I also offer welcome gift natural or organic products such as gel / shampoo, local fruit, tea, coffee and sugar cane bio and extra virgin olive oil bio.


"The Little Whale" is also family friendly with accessories for baby and children (crib, highchair and baby bath).

If you want to practice yoga, you will find yoga mats at home. And for the beach umbrella, beach towels and shovels to play on the beach.

For surfers and bodyboarders, there are many places: 5 minutes by car, "EL FRONTÓN" famous bigboard bodyboard (only advanced) and between 20 - 35 minutes drive from all the best surf spots on the north coast of Gran Canaria. We are surfers so we can advise you of surf spots, rent surfboards / surf lessons. In 55 minutes you reach Pozo Izquierdo, famous place for the best WINDSURFING.

Das Appartement ist wirklich wunderschön. Vor allem der Meerblick von der Terrasse ist einzigartig. Jeden Abend konnte man der Sonne beim Untergehen zusehen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Bett ist super bequem. Praktisch ist auch der kleine Geschirrspüler. Esperanza, die Gastgeberin, war sehr freundlich und hat vorab alles gut beschrieben, so dass die Ankunft unkompliziert war. Wir waren im Januar dort und hatten, insbesondere morgens, bedeckten Himmel. Da die Wohnung keine Heizung hat, empfiehlt es sich, etwas wärmere Kleidung für drinnen mitzunehmen. Wenn die Sonne herauskam, konnte man aber sehr schön auf der Terrasse sitzen.

Traumhafter Ausblick

Ein traumhaftes Objekt im schönen Norden von Gran Canaria, fernab vom üblichen Tourismus. Wer Ruhe, interessante, abwechslungsreiche Landschaft, Wassersport wie z.B. Surfen, oder Wandern liebt, ist hier richtig. "Der kleine Wal" war für uns als Paar ohne Kinder optimal. Auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick war das Frühstück ein Genuss, und nach den Tagesaktivitäten konnte man entspannt der Brandung lauschen. Allerdings wehte fast die ganze Zeit ein kräftiger, aber von der Temperatur angenehmener Wind. Dank an die Gastgeberin Esperanza für ihre ausführlichen Informationen und Tipps, und ihre prompten Antworten bei Fragen aller Art! Gerne wieder!

Ruhig, einsam und entspannt!

Als erstes muss ich die hervorragende Vermieterin Esperanza erwähnen, die ihre Ferienwohnung sehr gepflegt und liebevoll zur Verfügung stellt. Die Aussicht von der Terasse mit den Sonnenuntergängen in Richtung Teide (Teneriffa) sind wunderbar. Auch beantwortet Sie digital zeitnah auf alle Fragen zum Aufenthalt und Insel. Macht sehr konstruktive Vorschläge zur Inselerkundung. Leider konnten wir Sie nicht persönlich kennenlernen. Die in die Jahre gekommene Anlage hat ein paar unschöne Bauruinen und die nähere Umgebung bräuchte Begrünung . Mietwagen ist unverzichtbar!

Wir waren drei wundervolle Wochen im Okt./Nov 2021 dort und sind sehr begeistert! Das Apartment ist recht neu renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll und funktional eingerichtet. Alles da was man braucht. Schon wenn man zur Wohnungstür reinkommt, ist man geflashed von dem Ausblick aufs Meer!!! Esperanza nahm uns sehr freundlich in Empfang. Zur Begrüßung stand eine Obstschale und eine Wasserflasse bereit. Sehr aufmerksam! Das große Doppelbett hatte sehr gute Matratzen, auch das riesig-ausklappbare Schlafsofa war von guter Qualität und da einzuschlafen oder aufzuwachen mit DEM Ausblick.....Wow!!! Eine sehr große Sonnenterrasse, wir hatten schon ab vormittags Sonne bis zum Sonnenuntergang, auf der, wenn man will, sich den ganzen Tag ungestört sonnen und den galaktischen Aufblick genießen kann. Das Apartment thront einige Meter direkt über einer wilden Felsbucht im Meer und man hat dort einen Blick - links die ganze wilde westliche Küstenlinie, rechts bei guter Sicht Teneriffa mit dem Teide und dazwischen das Meer in allen Blau- und Türkistönen. Ab und zu kommt in weiter Ferne die Fähre nach Teneriffa durchs Bild gefahren oder mal ein Fischerboot.....Kein Straßenlärm, kein Touristen-Radau, stattdessen Wellenrauschen und morgens beim Wachwerden das Zwitschern der Kanarienvögel der Nachbarn. Das Apartment befindet sich in einer etwas in die Jahre gekommenen aber gut gepflegten Anlage. Zugegeben, im oberen Teil stehen noch ein paar unvollendete Bauruinen herum und auch der Fußballplatz bei den Parkplätzen macht einen etwas tristen Eindruck, aber davon sieht man nichts, wenn man sich in Esperanzas schmucken Apartment befindet. Die Lage ist eher was für ruhesuchende Touristen, denn da oben ist wirklich Lands End. Es kommt nur noch der Leuchtturm, sonst nix. Also wer direkt vor der Haustür Bars, Restaurants und Halligalli sucht, der wird enttäuscht sein. Aber für uns war es genau dieser Aspekt, der uns angezogen hat. Die Anlage ist überwiegend von Residenten oder Einheimischen bewohnt, viele kommen auch nur zum Wochenende. Wifi-war manchmal etwas wackelig, aber wir waren ja nicht zum Arbeiten da. In einer halbend Stunde zu Fuß = 10 Autominuten ist das Dörfchen Sardina erreicht. Ein vollkommen untouristisches Örtchen, im oberen Teil etwas nüchtern vielleicht, aber im unteren Teil mit einem entzückenden schwarzsandigen Strand, im Hintergrund das an der Teilküste klebende Dorf mit seinen urigen Höhlenwohnungen. Alles in allem ein echter Geheimtipp!!!

Great Location

The property is excellent and thoughtfully equipped. The location is fantastic if you want to be away from main tourist areas. Located on the cliff edge the view from the apartment is breathtaking and it is only a short walk to the water. A car is essential as the complex is on a headland approx 5km away from the nearest town (Galdar) although only a 20min walk to the nearest village(Sardina) where there is a beach, shop, and restaurants. Owner was very helpful and arrival and departure easy. Overall a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Sehr schön gelegene und mit allem wichtigen ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit Blick auf den Ozean. Neben einem Kühlschrank, Tiefkühltruhe, Herd, Mikrowelle gibt es unter anderem auch eine Waschmaschine. Die Ferienwohnung gehört einem sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Ehepaar, welche immer per SMS mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Vielen Dank an die Beiden für den schöne Aufenthalt. Gracias.

Von der Terrasse kann man die sich ständig verändernde Brandung beobachten. Man sieht die Dragon Tail Mountains im Südwesten der Insel und man sieht Teneriffa. Gute Möglichkeiten um Wandern. Sehr liebevolles, modernes Appartement. Es fehlte an nichts. Grandioser Ausblick vom Balkon, hypnotisierendes Meeresrauschen. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Vermieterin, danke Esperanza :0) Der markante, entspannte, „schnörkellose“ Norden der Insel hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Mit einem Mietwagen ist die gesamte Insel prima und bequem zu erkunden. In Sardina del Norte gibt es zwei kleine Supermärkte. In Agaete, Sardina, Galdar kann man die kanarische Küche geniessen. Wenn wir wieder nach Gran Canaria reisen, dann sehr gerne wieder zum „little whale“.

Wunderschönes Appartement in ruhiger Lage mit Meerblick

Wir haben 11 Nächte in diesem schönen Appartement, bewusst abseits der Hotelburgen, verbracht und haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Eine durchweg renovierte Unterkunft mit schönem modernen Bad, einem tollen Wohnbereich, einer neuen Einbauküche und einer herrlichen Terrasse mit Meerblick bis zum Teide, auf der wir jeden Morgen lange gefrühstückt und abends den Sonnenuntergang genossen haben. Die Vermieterin Esperanza hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Entorno silencioso, una atención cuidada por parte de los anfitriones que culmina con una casa minimalista que acoge en todos los sentidos y la pequeña cala para unos baños casi en solitario. The Little Whale es, definitivamente un lugar al que regresaremos. La vibra de este alojamiento habla por sí sola.

Wer jenseits des touristischen Trubels eine moderne, am Wasser gelegene Wohnung sucht, ist im Norden der Insel im Apartment "kleiner Wal" richtig. Danke, liebe Esperanza, für die vielen liebevollen Details, durch die wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt haben.
