Rooms has central air conditioning only, ie you can't control how cool or hot in your room. If they have heat on, your room can be very uncomfortablely hot like an apartment building with heat on in the winter months.

You cannot control the A/C so it gets VERY hot. There is no parking, you have to pay for extra pillows and the Internet is pretty much useless at times, even at 6am. not great

This hotel looks like it's going to be one of them fancy ones... but it's not. First of all the Internet is terrible. They have a note on each floor about "rush hour" but really, it's hit and miss. A lot of miss... The A/C, even on high wasn't enough for 37C outside and we were sweating inside the room so we had to request a fan for the room. If you want an extra pillow that's extra, I don't know for you, but I never paid for an extra pillow before (they only provide 2 per bed, so 1 each, in our situation) The staff is really nice and friendly and speak some English. Shower is small but good. Laundry is also very efficient and convenient. There is no parking, they said we could stop in front of the hotel, but the traffic was heavy and felt like it would be mean to others so we went to the (super cheap) parking behind the hotel and carried our stuff.
Mention about the bad Internet.

Location was excellent, 6min walk from hakata station. Bus stop at the front of the hotel. Staff was super nice. They marked down my request and offered help at the time when i check in. So i do not need to repeat what i want.

Good hotel

The hotel is about 10 minutes from Hakata station. Airport bus is in front of the bus station. Hotel is clean, near to shopping district.

Smoking hotel

First time arriving at Fukuoka so wanted to choose a hotel neat the station, that’s why we chose this one. Room was stated nonsmoking but then crazily, smoke smell never subsided even the last minute of our stay. We need to be disgusted for at least 10 minutes every time getting in the room.
